Okay, probably not, but there will be at least one rebel 3 ship list based around Biggs going far. It might contain Braylen instead of Wes as the stronger ship versus Defenders and in general, but Wes provides strong abilities against Palp-Aces at PS10 and against U-Boats and OCR4 Dengar. It might have alpha-strike Miranda as the regen-ship or Poe, but I beieve Norra with her sickening ability to outtank 1v1 will be the best choice. Rebels have a very narrow toolbox, but it can bring them far.

2016 is year of Scum.

I would say try me, but I know that's an exercise in futility. If you think discussing a list will weaken it, it's most likely not that strong of a list. And to think people will build to counter just that one list is even more asinine.

But if it truly is a gem in the rough, I'm more then happy to be stay in suspense with baited breath.

If your list only works as a surprise then it won't win because by round three it's not a surprise and by round four or five its been found out.

FWIW it seems like there's a lot in ShadowCaster at the moment, I've seen those demolish Defenders. If it's really a mass Defender-off then Unhinged Quad TLT might be the way to go.

I predict that the list that wins Worlds will be a well rounded list, with tools for dealing with each of the main archetypal meta lists (Palp aces, palp defenders, dengaroo, Rebel regen/control, etc), and that has a healthy dose of luck-mitigation. I predict that the player who wins will be someone who has practiced this list a lot, who knows it in and out, and who is good at reading both the meta and their opponents and countering them.

I wish I could post something more clever than that but thinking is hard at 6:00 in the morning. -__-

Anyway I Think there will be min of 3 defender lists, a dengeraoo or two, palp aces, a ghost and Biggs,in top 16.

As to what will win, I don't know, but I do hope it's something unexpected, and no offense to heaver, but It would be nice to see someone else win for once.

What I would really like is something like what happened with Armada at nationals (I think): top table was lists that conventional wisdom said should be crushed by the meta. Also, expect whatever Paul Heaver flies to be a super popular list for a few months.

So far not at worlds, but at other venues, yes. He does seem to have a faible for 4 ship lists, I could imagine him running an imperial squadron with Palp and 3 other ships.

Edit: Interesting concept, how would you do that without resorting to the old Wampa, OL, Inquisitor standart, probably using the strong Defender? Simple draft:

Doesn't sound like its his list, more that of someone he plays with who doesn't want it revealed and he respects that wish. Also sounds like he did see results from it. While I do agree that these "I know something you don't, but won't tell" comments are annoying as hell and don't add much, I can forgive that if at some later point it is revealed what list has been allured to.

the list is highly competitive, really only worried about triple torp scout match-ups
