FFG please fix Fel's Wrath
Actually, I don't think his skill sucks that badly. Lack of EPT on an Interceptor hurts him, but not his pilot skill. Fel's Wrath is great anti-ace material otherwise.
I like it more than Lorrir...meh, that guy sucks to me.
If Fel's Wrath had some ordnance,it will be great. But even now, playing a lot of swarms, I will apreciate it if mine ships can shoot before they die.

Not the worst ability at all.
The barrelroll bank WOULD be an awesome ability, except it stresses you out. I'd be fine with that stress if it was an EPT, but a pilot ability? So many pilot abilities completely break the "balance" the upgrade cards offer because theyre unique anyway, then theres this guy.
Given the way the Corran Horn double-tap FAQ fell (no pun intended), there will be fractionally more utiliy to his ability (no rhyme intended) as more methods arise to destroy ships outside of the Combat phase (eg Snap Shot, Seismic Torps).
Fel's Wrath cannot be eliminated in the activation phase so really now is his time to shine.
Are you suggesting that there aren't enough good TIE Interceptor Pilots?
The real reason I never take Fel's Wrath is he really isn't that much cheaper than Fel himself. It's not his ability but the fact that he is a low(to mid) PS Interceptor. When was the last time you say an Alpha Pilot fly.
Interceptors shine in the hands of an Ace and lag behind otherwise. But that is okay. Every ship doesn't have to be good at every PS or every role of the game. TIE Interceptors see a lot of play. Sure, it is mostly Fel and Carnor, but if we saw more interceptors it would have to be at the expense of other ships.
Fel's Wrath (as Fel's wingman) would have been cool if he had gotten Resistance Chewbacca's ability (+ept).

You could fix those two PS 5 pilots, or you can just have fun throwing lots of dice with:

It's terrible! It's awful! It's also really fun to fly non-ptl TIE interceptors. You can do some crazy things with this squad. Lt. Lorrir is AMAZING against lower PS pilots, but he's still really squishy. In fact, I think I may place this squad next game night...
much as i love the aesthetics of interceptors the ship is hot garbage unless its Soontir or Jax flying it, who's ability is so ridiculous it outweighs the terrible ship.
The other ships only have "meh" or flatout bad abilities (boost/broll after attack being an exception, that one is pretty good) but their cost is PENNIES under the top dogs, many without an EPT which really hurts interceptors even more.
Unfortunately because of how nasty soontir/jax can be, theres no way they'd buff them again.

What's a worse ship to spend points on, Fel's Wrath, or a PS3 E-Wing?
I've actually thought Fel's Wrath ability in an upgrade card would really help small base generic pilots. Make it a 0-point non-unique title that can only be put on small base generic ships with less than 3 agility.
Not sure the agility part is required since the only generic with 3agi we see at all is the Defender, which x7 is still better than a revenge attack. Unless said defender just gets outright obliterated, an evade every round will let him so at LEAST 1 more attack on its own if not more.
But yeah i agree. Same for the barrelroll bank. I'd love that to be a 1pt EPT where you cant take it unless you have the barrelroll action already and it stresses you. I could think of a lot of shenanigans with that (QD comes to mind muhahaha)

Honestly, EPTs are one of the weakest areas in the game. We're just now starting to get a few more viable options. Before, your options were like "PtL, VI, Predator, end of list". I'm sure EPTs are the area that they're most conservative with, since it's one of the upgrades that can go on almost any ship type, but I feel like there's so much room for exciting, game changing innovation in that area.
The slow trickle of very conservative EPTs is....probably best for the game...but it always leaves me frustrated and wanting more.
Between Wrath, Lorrir, and Kanos I've been trying for forever to come up with an Island of Misfit Squints list that will work..... still haven't.
Closest I've gotten is:
Wrath + AT
Kanos + AT
Lorrir + AT + MkII
Scimitar + Fleet Officer + Systems Officer + MkII
which looks fairly obvious, but the more outside the box I got with it, the worse it was.
Edited by Audio WeaselFels wrath isn't bad because of one of the weakest abilities it's bad because it's a horrible combination of no ept, mid ps, high cost compared to something generic like Royal guard pilot which is cheaper, higher ps, and a ept.
Honestly he would be awesome if he only had an ept and dealt 1 damage to whichever ship killed him or was able to do a primary atk to whichever ship killed him (even out of arc). However interceptors are great ships ever since they fixed them with Auto thrusters.
