Have any of you guys run Jedi through this scenario. And if so, how did you deal with not overly powerful but pretty good Jedi. Sometimes it seems that in firefights i have to put the threat level up so high that it becomes really hard for non Jedi. So what are some of the balancing things some of you have done. What i have done is when the Jedi use knock down and other powers i see how many successes they get or force points used and give the 'victim" er i mean the nemesis they are facing an opposed role with the difficulty that is the number of successes and such. Just wondering, this is my first time playing with Jedi.
Pirate Queen and Jedi balancing
I ran this with a 1K+ Niman Disciple in the party. The thing is, even though he could technically Move Sil 4 objects, the player concentrated on RP and showed a lot of self-restraint.
I boosted most checks across the board and brought in powerful archvillains from throughout the campaign's history, including Guri, our campaign's first Adversary 4. However, the onus is not only on the GM to balance things and keep the game fun. If your players focus as much on experiencing the story as they do in "beating" the game, things will work out
