Also need is any body interested in doing and epic tournament. Using ffg official epic rules. Unless we have more then 8 people will be 3 rounds (thinking of capping it at 8 any way.)1v1 300points. Either late November or early december.

Will have either a 2015 winter or 2016 spring game night kit if we can get at least 6 people ($5)

I like epic occasionally. But the thought of playing in an epic tournament hurts my head.

Well Friday night (Oct 7th) at Game Matrix I played two list to use it as a decider for which list I would run at the Uncle's Games tourney on Sunday (Oct 9th).

Nathan slaughtered me up good with his two Arc-170's and two z-95s when I flew 3 bwings. So I switched to the DVD list (3 defenders: Vessery and 2 Deltas) and they did well versus Fuzzy Jr and then Sr.

Knowing that I knew that list much better BUT that I often either forgot to trigger Ruthlessness OR that I sometimes had no choice but to nail one of my ships... I decided to buy a second Tie Punisher to get two more Twin Ion Engine Mk. II cards so that I could drop Ruthlessness and add the Twin Ion Engine Mk. II on each of the three defenders so that it added six more green maneuver options and (more importantly) a way to make my opponent guess when I needed to ever clear stress rather than knowing I could only go straight to do so.

I was champion at Uncle's with the list in yesterday's tournament. My first opponent was Christopher who was flying a VCX piloted by Hera, Zeb in the docked Phantom, and Keyan Farlander. That match finished 100-0. The second match was against Karl with 2 Contracted Scouts (one with proton torps and Fett crew, the other with Plasma torps), as well as Fenn Rau in the new Protectorate Starfighter (super dangerous as range 1). He and I battled tough and we ended the match at time with Vessery holding on as my only ship and Fenn Rau his only ship. I won that 37-34. Last match was against Peta and he was flying Whisper (VI, FCS, ACD, and Kalus) and Countess Ryad and a PS 5 Tie Bomber with Vader Crew. This was a fun match... The bomber made a red hard turn to get JUST into attack range on the alpha strike, but with Vessery getting his attack first, I hit it with the tractor beam and rolled it on to an debris cloud for a second stress AND in a position to take another stress the next round. You can just imagine how unhappy Vader was with the pilot and probably force choked him right there in the middle of the dog fight. Getting the bomber out of the battle for a while I turned all guns to Whisper knowing I did not want to face her in the end game. I managed to pull a move she did not expect and got her trapped with the Delta tie/x7 right infront of her at range one (although not pointed at her) and two asteroids on either side of her. She felt safe after using all her tokens to keep vessery from tractoring her on the a rock... BUT then the other Delta coming in from behind her at range two spend a target lock and focus to make sure the ion cannon rolled three hits and once she was ioned it was all over for Whisper. The bomber went down and the Countess ended up staying alive at time with me keeping Vessery and the Delta with the Ion Cannon alive. I believe that I wont that like 63-29 (guessing), finishing 3-0 and taking home a nice prize pot from the 2016 summer kit + a brand new Shadow Caster expansion ship.

YES... Heroes of Aturi is a go for tonight. Lets try and all be there and ready 7PM so that we can can ships and cards ready to go and start putting down dials by 7:30. PLEASE?!? I'll try to be there by 6:30 if I can as I'd like to get the second to last table in the back... not the last (dark) table.
