Possible Thrawn rules I would like to see

By Kiwi Rat, in Star Wars: Armada

Still think thrawn should allow you to readjust your ships postion by up to distance 3. Or direction they are heading.

Thrawn should let you stack your ships on deployment, and insert the maneuver tool backwards to go in reverse.

You may choose to have initiative and choose from your or your opponents objectives.

What happens when two Thrawn players play?

It sounds like when you put a mic too close to a speaker.

22pts - Friendly ships may resolve defense tokens at speed 0.

Interdictor - Contested Outpost

Come at me M*****f****r

That sounds better for an generic upgarde card and it should have a slight disadvantge such as:

When defending at speed 0, You may use one defence token.

Then its not so OP ;)

How is not be able to reposition your firing arcs overpowered? Its a trade off.

You stop your ISD, its now really easy to flank it. You better have a really good tactical plan for doing so..... (Which is what you guys seem to want from Thrawn....)

Yes because flanking an ISD with its back end up against the table edge is really a good tactic ;)

...Flank It..?

...Ignore It..?

I'm just the Guy with the Initiative in that case....

"On the back foot" - Thrawn's ability to predict enemy movements and strike before they are ready while skilfully manoeuvring his own became legendary.

After deployment, choose 1 of your ships and 1 of your opponents - Both ships may be redeployed in owners deployment area, the ships owner may choose orientation after new deployment

EDIT - Further than 1 from any board edge - mainly due to it being easily abused (see post below lol)

Define "Orientation". Because i fyou mean, "direction it is facing pivoting on a center point", then I'm abusing it...

Because if I take a ship, and fit it in the very corner of the enemy deployment zone, facing Horizontally.... It can't be spun on the Spot, the only thing they can choose is to face it to the Left, or to the Right... Correct?

because any angle other than 180 to the Left or Right, is going ot be outside the Enemy Deployment Zone...

Rule of thumb. If you cant explain an effect in 10 words then its too complicated.

If I use small words, is it okay that there are 11 of them? ;)
