Force Specializations

By syrath, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

It is clear from many of the specs tbat outside of the lightsaber trees that a lot of the specializations tie directly to a specific tradition.

Examples from so far

Jensaarai_ Armorer

Warden - Wardens of the Sky

Warleader - Teepo Paladins

Baran do sages - duh .... Sage

Im not an expert on force traditions, but what other direct links have been spotted for traditions outside of Jedi.

Warleaders for Kilian Rangers; Seekers for the Witches of Dathomir. You can build a Seyugi Dervish with Executioner. The Baran Do would be more Seer, I think, but both can pull it off. Gand Findsmen can be build with Seeker, and it's looking like Sentinel would be a good place to start.

I had always thought Hunter was the Findsman spec

Actually Seer was what I actually meant to say. Oops

Seeing as Endless Vigil is getting the Gand, it's possible Investigator or Sentry make for good Findsmen.

There's a group called the Jal Shey; they view the Force through a scientific standpoint, rather than a spiritual one. They were also mostly non-martial (only perhaps learning enough to defend themselves), and were craftsmen capable of creating specialty armor and equipment. Sage is a good place to start, as well as Artisan. Armorer is good, if you ignore the combat talents, while Niman Disciple is excusable, as they did apparently use lightsabers in some capacity.

The Zeison Sha, I'd say, are entirely Seekers, seeing as they had survival as their whole deal. The only hitch is they had a uniwue weapon called a discblade, which we don't have stats for. If we did, I'd would be easy to make the Zeison Sha.

The Matukai believe that strength in the Force can be liked to the body, so they are kind of like martial artists. They to have a unique weapon called a wan-shen, a kind of Force-imbued polearm. I would cautiously say Ataru Strike and maybe Warden, but I don't see much that really stands out as capturing them entirely. And we don't have the wan-shen stats, so that makes it tricky.
