AoR and F&D Adventures in EoTE

By McHydesinyourpants, in Game Masters

In order to cut down on time spent writing for my campaign, I want to start using some of the published adventures.

Are any of the modules for AoR and F&D suitable for a group of scumbags and scoundrels? My campaign is set about 9 BBY. The Empire is at it's height of power and the rebellion is just a small disconnected set of separatist cells making terrorist attacks and disrupting Imperial activities in minor ways. There are no force users in the party at all yet.

I guess that Permulian Haul would work in an EoTE setting, such as mine with a bit of tweaking; an ambitious robbery and hijacking of an Imperial ship would work very well with my crew.

Any other suggestions on what might work?

You could replace the Alliance ship in Dead in the Water with a pirate vessel or a pirates' flagship or a shadow port of some kind. Onslaught at Arda I is pretty heavily invested in the Rebellion, so I wouldn't bother.

You could take Chronicles of the Gatekeeper and turn it into a Indiana Jones-style quest easily enough. Change the holocron to some kind of legendary pirate treasure or something similar; should work well for a group of poor adventurers. Lessons from the Past and Hidden Depths are could also be treasure hunts, but running them all together may get kind of same-y.

As another alternative, you might be able to utilize old WEG or WotC adventures.

You may be on to something. I might even keep the Holocrons in order to be able to use the Inquisitorius as a group of villains. They dig it out and sell it off or whatever only to find an Imperial Inquisitor hunting them down.

I will have a look at the WEG and WotC stuff too. Thank you.
