So the Maul's unique ship is named Nightbrother...

It's a unique color - but I think there were several ships in Eminence with the same shape and size. Might have a few upgrades due to Vizsla and Maul not just being ordinary Death Watch, but leaders in the organization.

Yeah I see 2 in this picture. It's down on Wookiepedia as one of the major projects of Mandalmotors, so I assume a fair few were made.

Those are the slightly larger Season 2 ships.

Upon seeing the rotating wings, I suddenly remember that one or more of these ships appeared in the comic miniseries Darth Maul Son of Dathomir. It was the last thing published by Dark Horse before Marvel got the license, and at the time it was heralded as the first "new canon" comic.

I think that the ship is too small (10 meters shorter than a Gozanti apparently) to be an epic ship, and it's too big (10 meters longer than a VCX) to be a large ship. Plus it is as wide as it is long, so it will have immense issues with base overflow. If FFG were to bring it in, they would probably have to fudge the scale a bit, something that I don't believe they have ever done with standard play ships.

Or have the wings rotated to the vertical. That way it's only the prow that overhangs the base a bit - and not the wings.

The only problem is it would turn and take out the enemy fleet, by side swiping them.

It's only very slightly bigger than the Ghost - like under 10% longer (canonically).

And, of course, much less volume - its quite 'flat'.

It'd be a 'large' base ship, if anything. Definitely not Epic. And hopefully FFG could add enough greebles to the design so that it doesn't look like just a re-scaled Fang fighter, because that would be totally lame...

Based on the given specs, it's in a really awkward spot. It's right in the middle between the ghost and gozanti cruiser, ~10m bigger than the ghost (the biggest large base), ~10m smaller than the gozanti (the smallest epic). Not sure where you put that for x-wing.
