Probably the most powerful thing about snap shot.

By RedAce, in X-Wing

So I was running 5 snapshot crackshot a wings the other day and I noticed how easy it was for my opponents to forget to do actions with there ships. Now I'm not saying everything they forgot to take actions after I snapshotted but it happened enough to make me think that this will be a somewhat common occurrence in tournaments. People are gonna get so salty when after snap shot they activate a new ship and forgot to take actions and then get denied said missed opportunity.

It's something people will adapt to.

When I first started playing with Phantoms I was forever forgetting to decloak, or to cloak with ACD.

Bit of practice and you get used to remembering your stuff. It'll be the same with snapshot - first couple of times someone comes up against it and forgets actions, they'll not forget again.

To be honest, I tend to pick up any relevant tokens as soon as I'm done with my movement, so I'll probably have my token(or template) in my hand ready to put down as soon as snapshot has resolved.

We'll see what happens when I come across it though.

Thanks for the warning. I like running Snap Shot, I will make sure to remind people about their actions.

Use r3a2

Then remind them that they can't take their action step action without tycho or chopper crew

Thanks for the heads up! I'm one of those who occasionally forgets my action anyway. Rolling defense dice is something that would make my mind wander a bit... and forget. :D

This.

Well said.

This.

Violation of Wheaton's Law has no place in this game. Don't be a thing the word filters won't let me say.

Now we have to see his bull on Reddit.

PGS got banned? How did I miss that? What was his crime?

(Suddenly, why the forum seems a bit quieter lately makes sense.)

Likewise curious.

Likely got his last warning point to push him over for being banned.

KO snap shot swarm confirmed for World's.

Does snap shot happen before or after actions?

Before, Major Rhymer with tactician, can intercept an unstressed ship, snap it and then deal it a stress, denying it its action :) .

Me too. Good call.

You can sic a downvote brigade (around 20 bots is enough) and he'll never be able to comment.

But you can downvote on Reddit. His presence there will only be seen if you want to see it or if he actually posts something worthwhile.

I'm curious to know how your game ended, with a win?

It's bad and an abuse of the system but yeah I downvote EVERYTHING he posts, he's a cancer to the community.
