The Copenhagen Meta MUS?

By Kiwi Rat, in Star Wars: Armada

With the adwent of wave 3, the Copenhagan meta in Denmark seems to go in the direction of MUS (Multible Units & Squadrons)

All thanks to Flottila's, most lists I've seen so far, revolves around one Center piece Large or Medium ship + at least 3x ships, where at least one is a Flotilla and at least 6 or more squadrons.

So I just want to know if this is just some kind of "local trouble" or is this also seen else where?

And how well, do the "classic" 2 ship lists, the MSU lists and Lists without sqds, fare against a MUS list?

Are we still looking at rock, paper and scissor (albeit with a much broader variation) or will MUS lists gradually be more prevalent?

I think the meta isn't flushed out as yet. IT doesn't have as many games as X-wing so it takes a lot longer to figure out what concepts work and what changes the new waves bring to the meta. For X-wing it is so saturated especially on Vassal that the new meta is hashed out right on launch.

So far we got Rhymer balls as a top meta with Demo Gladators being a strong build. I don't see too many lists with both so who knows if they clash. With Rebels there are a lot of Nebs as with the double brace they are proving to be rather durable than their 1 shield sides might suggest.

As for the one big flag ship and escorts and squadrons I think it is standard because it has the most versatile set up and is very easy to assemble if you are not too serious of a collector and on a budget. If you are a one of each ship that list almost builds itself.

Ideally you want 4 ship activations per fleet so a large and 3 supports is ideal for those activations.

Well the more flotilla you bring, the stronger ISD 2 gunnery teams become

Well you will want an even number of ships if you don't outnumber your opponent. If your opponent only has 4 ships you would be perfectly fine with 5 ships because you can move after your opponent. But then again if you always have an even number of activations your opponent will be forced to react to which ship you activate first and can't plan around the last ship to activate.
