Hey, i'm looking for my next purchase for x-wing and i'm considering ghost and hotr. HotR would be no-brainer for me, but i already own one falcon. Would you justify buying another one or would you go for ghost, because another one will be useless? I'm never going to run two falcons at once, cause it just seem... wrong. On another hand, i would love to get new title, Han Solo pilot and Finn crew (i really like this guy ). The decision seems harsh... what would be your pick?

The ghost has some awesome builds atm, Including one my friend uses to great effect when paired with chewy.

That said hotr still offers much more than just the new shiny falcon, the t70's and primed thrusters should make it worth it's money no matter which way you go.

One of the main builds utilising the new falcon title involves Kanan from the ghost pack, so my advice would be to get both!

I understand your reticence at have two of the same large ship, but when you consider what Ralgon said above, I'd say go for heroes then pick up the ghost next time (and an ARC, because they're just awesome!)

Spend the money on defenders instead.

Both have good stuff -- I'm having fun with my Ghost right now but at the same time am looking forward to trying out Rey and some of the new T-70 fun.

If you're only going to buy one and don't have a specific list you want to build, go with the ships you like best!

How often do you fly T70s? While this expansion has lots of Falcon goodies, the X wing is an equal part of this release. If that doesn't excite you then go Ghost.

As a new player and budget player I find myself often trying to make the same type of choices. Resign yourself to the fact eventually you'll probably buy them all.

I'll be honest i bought the Ghost mostly for the cards. Not that i have anything against it. It's an amazing ship in its own right. I prefer Kwings, Xwings (both 65s and 70s), and Awings when flying Rebels.

However with HOTR it comes with some really cool T-70 stuff. Which makes me happy.

So I say buy what you want to fly and pick up the others later when they strike your fancy.

The reason you aren't buying the Ghost is because the model isn't very attractive. The box however if full of cards not found anywhere else and the game mechanics of the ship/cards is fun and diverse.

After HotR his the shelves, look on ebay to buy some of the cards to flesh out the original falcon.
