Here are the changes, and why:
Out maneuver -> VI on "Backdraft". This change was made because SF's are really good at killing aces. Bumping Backdraft up to 9 helps more with that. Out maneuver performed very well in play testing, but the general targets for OM were the generic ships in an opponents list rather than the aces as mentioned earlier.
No modification -> Mk2 engines on "Quickdraw". I don't like adding points to this one, but it's the best use of the free point I had, and with quickdraw you don't need a bid.
Colonel Vessery -> Countess Ryad. Vessery was great with backdraft. Seriously my new favorite wingman for Vessery. However, if the enemy was wise and focused down backdraft, vessery lost use of his abillity. Ryad is more self sufficient. She also answers the problem of swarm. I am confident Ryad can almost solo an entire swarm, and with quickdraw and backdraft surgically removing the support elements early, it becomes all the easier.
So far in practice the list feels stronger. Just thought I might update anyone who was interested.
