Not sure if just locally or not. But Barnes and Noble bookstore in my area clearing out all xwing and armada. 50 percent off. Just wanted to let the community know. They had a pretty big selection.

It maybe a local clearance, but I'll go check my local store.

I have no local stores they're all out of business Amazon is a pretty great company for the moment, they saved the paper mills up north from being shut down keeping lots of workers jobs from leaving the country, but the effect it's had on bookstores is very unfortunate. It's not Amazon's fault but it's side effect.

Whats a Barnes and Noble ?

Is this just a store-by-store thing? I was just at my local B&N yesterday hoping to expand my fleet via clearance but everything was still full price.

I've gathered that the clearance is more of a company wide clearance then just one B&N. Seems an odd move, they get into games, then they get out of games I guess to just do book selling, then they get back into games cause you know, they need to diversify.... Looks like it might be that time of the year for them. Anyway, I'm kinda surprised in some ways they are still around.

I bought some Armada product on clearance a couple of weeks ago which was not marked as clearance in-store (but rang up at the register as 50% off). The way to check is to go the their website, pick a product (listed as full-price), and then choose the "pick up in store" option. The stores that have it on clearance will be listed and show the clearance price. Only Wave 1 and 2 from what I can tell.

The ones in my area have increased their stock of both in recent days. No signs for clearance though.

I checked my store, other than a stack of sweetish looking Gundam Exia-Dark Matter model kits, it was sort of a hodge-podge. No Armada or X-wing on clearance, at least marked. (that's in Vestal NY)

So you're saying we should price check it at the store, and see if it's an unmarked clearance.

I've seen each wave go into clearance at the local B&N (Austin, Tx) as they are replaced by newer waves. Though during slow intra-wave periods even the old ships can show up at full price again.

Perhaps the store just has a fixed amount of shelf space dedicated to the game?

No clearance here. Full price, and the teenager who did the price check for me looked at me strangely.

What little the local store carries, does not show as discounted online. Oh well, I'm just excited to stores in the Scranton Metro carry Armada products! LOL

Can confirm. Mine had most of the X-Wing stock all bought up (though I did snag half off TIEs), but all they had for Armada was a Home1, MC30, and a Glad, all stuff I did not need more of.

you can search their website for specific products and then search for all the local stores and see what the prices are. It's easy to see which ones have the sale and it's not many of the stores.

They are not even showing any of the new wave of Armada ships on line, though I do see some of the latest X-wing stuff. No sale at my local store either.
