Alright.. I hate to do it but I admit defeat. The idea behind R3 is cool, but he is too inconsistent to be worth it. If it was just cancel an attack dice it would work for high PS but it just doesn't have what it takes as is.

Ahh Ficklegreendice and I had come to a disagreement with R3 Astro. I believed on high PS ships that roll lots of dice (TLT Salm BTLA4/Wedge ect) it had real potential. Sadly it doesn't work too well, it's too inconsistent. I can't always roll the focus when I need it. Not worth the points.

It doesnt work with TLT to begin with so unless you are putting the title on Colonel Salm it wouldnt work with him.

The best idea Ive seen for it is putting it on a Red Vet on a T7 with Juke and Comm Relay-but then you sacrifice your first attack of the game (if you roll a focus, and if you dont then you are further out of luck for the next attack) for juke the rest of the game...and it is expensive.

R3 is awful. For a second I thought maybe it would work with snapshot to give you an evade at range 1 but nope r3 only triggers on primary attacks.

You know, R3 reminds me a bit of the cards Priest keeps getting in Hearthstone. Sometimes I feel like saying "haha Rebels" when seeing them. Then I remember that the ARC is solid if you dodge the torpscout matchups, so the faction has at least some viability.
