I just got into Tide of Iron a couple of months ago. My understanding is that FFG initially produced the game, but sold the license to some of the designers who started a company (1A games) specifically to continue the game. After a couple of years, 1A went under and FFG bought the game back, but has done nothing else with it since. Am I missing anything?
