Interdictor roles

"Why not take Targeting Scrambler? Its playing to your Strengths and increasing your survivability."

"But its stupid. It only works when you're at Close Range."

"IF YOU HAVE AN INTERDICTOR THAT MEANS YOU ARE PLAYING IMPERIALS, AND YOU SHOULD BE DOING EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO DRIVE CLOSE AND BLACK-DIE-PUNCH EVERYTHING IN THE FACE! WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO, DANCE WITH REBELS AT RED RANGE WHERE THEY HAVE EVERY GODDAMN ADVANTAGE?! LETTING CR90s GO DO WHAT THEY WANT? TAKE A LITTLE TOLWYN IN YOUR LIFE - WHEN THERE IS A JUNKYARD DOG SNAPPING AT YOUR HEELS, THE BEST THING TO DO IS TURN AROUND AND KICK IT IN THE CHOPS..."

I sense the lack of faith disturbing. Thus far, playing a few games with and against Interdictor, it is a hardy ship. Throw in yuularen, Motti and projection experts, its free shields to wveryone every turn. Throw in scramblers and it throws off GSD centred lists. Putting grav shift gives you the ability to manipulate obstacles. G7 can be mitigated by deploying your units just outside the gravitational pull.

For me I prefer to use combat refit and deploying it with G8 since it allows me control over the enemy. I couple it with slicers.

I have been running mine with the full healing build. with G8s and scramblers as a healer and overload pulse carrier for the ISD1 Avenger I fly right beside it. really makes ppl think twice about where there flying around it. I run screed to make sure about those blue crits.

Wait...you can use Projection Experts to send shields to more than one ship?

"To a friendly ship".

You can move just 1 shield if you choose or the full 2.

Them's the breaks.
