I bought my one SF yesterday for the sake of something new

then I ran into this

hopefully soon we'll get something else to be excited about (can only fly ARCs so many times)

There is already several threads on this and Target was not involved in Force Friday this year as much as last year.

I wasn't expecting anything for Force Friday. I mean, aren't we getting enough stuff lately? Didn't we just get Wave 9?

I've had ARCs for over a month

and yet, my 2nd **** shadowcaster still hasn't arrived!

Disney website has a ton of Rogue One toys on there now, nothing xwing related.

I wouldn't go on there if you have managed to avoid a lot of the Rogue One trailers and materials thus far though.

I only expect news today... and by expect I mean demand .

I am not in the least bit surprised, so I'm absolutely not upset.

Wave 9 just hit only a couple weeks ago. Heroes of the Resistance is looming, and Wave 10 won't be too far behind that. We'll start seeing previews of those in due time.

U-Wing and TIE Striker are part of wave 10, so there's your Rogue One stuff.

It was a mistake for us to presume there would be yet another core box. Two is plenty. We have OT era with the original core, and new trilogy era with TFA core. All that's left is the prequel era, which I do not expect in an X-WING core box at all.

SWX58 will be revealed in due time. The only thing that suggests it will be Rogue One related is its timing, but even then, it's not necessarily correlated. I will wait to be pleasantly surprised. I suggest everyone else does, too.

Hmm, pretty late in the day now. Usually X-Wing announcements happen around 11am-noon CST if I'm not mistaken.

When there weren't any leaks a week or two prior, that was evidence enough for me that FFG had nothing for Force Friday.

On may the 4th they announced heroes of the resistance later in the day.....

All we're really "expecting" is the reveal of SWX58 - as it's presumably 'Rebels'-series related, given where it fits in the lineup, a reasonable guess it's that it's the Phantom Mk II. Maybe FFG is waiting until after the reveal of that ship in the TV show?
