Does anyone have pictures of disassembled ISDs or VSDs? I'm particularly interested in the superstructure for kit-bashing purposes.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks, Dras. Perfect. Now if anyone has a VSD, Id be appreciative.
You mean this? Made from the Revell Star Destroyer snap-rite model and parts for Mels Miniatures at Shapways 3D printing.

They have nearly identical construction. I'll get you a pic later when I go back to work on my VSD, but check out my "best way to split a star destroyer" thread.
Thanks.
I've spent some time working on my own version of the Revell model as a dreadnought. I havn't posted anything on it because my gaming club is going to have a detailed blog entry on its web page all about construction, parts, play testing and scenarios.
However, at this point, Im looking at the hull of the FFG ISD to make "patches" over the "feet" Revell used as a stand for their star destroyer. I also want to use part of the FFG ISD's superstructure to beef up the superstructure on the Revell one.

You'll see no snaps on the upper hull like the ISD has, instead the superstructure is fastened on by four pegs,
Edited by FourDogsInaHorseSuitHuh. The superstructure of a star destroyer just peels right off.

What? The ISD has like three layers that Snap into the upper hull.
Thanks.

Go to Mel's Miniatures over at Shapways 3 D printing. He sells ship decking skins that would be perfect for you. https://www.shapeways.com/product/Y3RJN78ZC/1x-starship-paneled-skin
