Just a silly thought I had for an EPT, and I couldn't help but share it with you guys.
It's Away - 1 point
After you perform a [torpedo] secondary weapon attack, you may discard any remaining secondary weapon cards to increase your agility value by one. If you do, your action bar loses the [target lock] action icon.
Thematically, you've dropped your payload, and have deactivated the targeting computer so you can focus more on evading enemy ships. Originally, I was thinking of letting it trigger after discarding a card to perform a secondary weapon attack, then I realized just how bonkers it'd be with missiles. A-Wings and TIE Advanced Prototypes getting 4 agility after having fired off XX-23 S-Thread Tracers? Nope, can't have that! So, I limited it to just torpedoes. This upgrade would probably help bring X-Wings and E-Wings back to the table (Four green dice!), and would give a nice boost to ordinance-based B-Wings
and Y-Wings
once they've fired all their shots. It would also likely revive the use of Flechette Torpedoes, as they're the cheapest way to enable this benefit.
So, tell my why it's an absolutely stupid idea.
...
Well...
... Aside from the fact that Contracted Scouts can take them. Shoot. Well, there goes that idea.
Edit: Forgot that no Rebel Y-Wings have EPTs, and only one Scum Y-Wing has one.
