Hello I have a tournament this weekend and its not a huge tournament but I'm also very new to the game. I'm mostly going to get the chance to play more but I also would like to do well. I'm wanting some help to make up a competitive list with what I have.

I own the following with all contents that come with them:

2x core sets

2x rebel assault frigit mk2

1x gladiator

There is a tiny change I can afford one of the following intime for the tournament, but would prefer not to buy anything:

Liberty

Both imperial and rebel flotilla's

Imperial star destroyer(at a very push)

Tantive Iv

Nubulon b

Mc30

Here's something I drew up really quick. I tried only using upgrades from those expansions you have, and I think I succeeded. The only thing I think wouldn't be in there is Veteran Captains, by you could switch those out with Defense Liasons.

The concept is simply to use your bid to get the initiative and go first. Get a last/first activation With Dodonna's Pride to soften up your first target (and fly away) and then proceed to follow up with the Assault Frigates. Engineering tokens from Garm and Veteran captains work with Redemption to give your frigates significant repair abilities (recover 1 shield and move 1 shield, or recover a crit). If you can bring all strong arcs to bear on the same target at least once, that's 9 red dice with possible rerolls from Garm CF tokens and Possible extra dice with CF dials (2AFs and Neb). X wing meat shield provides potent fighter defense network and viable bomber force. You could afford to make Luke a regular X wing and take XX9s on both Frigates instead, but that's up to you.

4 ship activations, 7 setup deployments. Pretty good objective synergy (just choose Dodonna's pride as your objective ship each time). Not something to sneeze at, given your options.

Parkdaddy's fleet is a great start, I would maybe swap two of the X's for A's (just personal preference) and use the points saved (and a little of the bid) to squeeze a turbo-laser upgrade onto the Neb B
