Garm + Bombers + Defiance

By Card Knight, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Trying this one out shortly, let me know what you guys think! The idea is that the MC80 can move the squadrons around as need be without activating them. Also a lot of hull to try and get through for squadrons.

Drop expanded hangar and take boosted comms on the MC80. Garm will give the bigger ships a squadron token and you will loose a fighter eventually or have one dropped off out of Jan's intel range but quite happy in a dogfight tying up an enemy or two.

I would also consider a single X-wing as escort as sometimes Jan may need to move faster to free up a Y-wing attack and she may need a little protection.

Agreed. And there's the dual role of the X being a bomber as well

If you are taking Precision Strike as Rebels, their isn't really an excuse to have any non-bombers besides Jan. Swap the YTs for Xwings.

YT-1300s with Jan are amazing if you are wielding them as a shield to protect you. They do have purpose. Just not in this fleet.
