Hey guys,
Apart from that 1 set of pre production renders does anyone have some pics of the banshee? Looking to do it as a caster repaint.....

I don't think there is anything except the concept art as they never produced the episodes it was intended for.
I'm assuming these are the pre-render pictures you're referring to?

They are indeed. Thanks
The only other picture my google-fu is turning up is a hand sketch (https://fanofstarwars.files.wordpress.com/2015/07/9889.png). Though I have to ask, with those renderings - what more do you really want?
I'm glad I searched though - I really like that scheme. I was already planning on putting purple LEDs in for the engines, so now I know what I'm painting it! It's a shame her pilot card doesn't match.
Birds eye from top would have been ideal for the purple edgework. I'll make do but the more the merrier ![]()
Was more wondering if she'd slipped into the comics or a graphic novel somewhere, which is stuff i tend not to keep up with
Near necromancy here, but I've been hemming and hawing at my own repaint based on this for a while. There are so many roadbumps between this concept art and putting paint on the model.
We don't have a good face-on view.
There's been significant physical redesign, especially with the engines.
There's different lighting on the top and bottom, which makes the colors look different.
This paint job is ridiculously busy -- four different shades of almost-pure gray (one of which looks blue-ish at first but isn't tinted as much as you think) and a faint purple-gray, plus major highlights in two other colors, with multiple layered instances of chipping and streaking. It'll be difficult to replicate this in a way that looks good both stand-alone and on the table with other ships. (I see a lot of painters solve this by going with a straight two-tone pattern, but that's flawed in the other direction, IMO. It's too few features for such a large ship.)
The emblem on the back will need a lot of freehand, too, but that's a problem with me, not the ship. ![]()
