It is almost unanimously agreed that the next expansion will be a small box for Endor. Supposing this is the case, what do you think we will see? Here is my guess:

I think Zuckuss and 4-LOM will be a double model box, like r2 and 3po.

Also, I think they'll make a scout biker commander, who can also be fielded as a regular biker scout and who'll be the villain of the expansion.

Scouts for empire and ewoks for rebels sound about right. They might release a new Han Solo as well where he's wearing his trenchcoat.

I doubt it will be done, which is why I made the Ewoks mercenary, but ewoks should be neutral. The only devotion they had to the Rebellion was 3po. In fact it would appear, that the Empire was not even hostile towards them. If it wasn't for 3po, they would have likely lived in harmony with the Empire, unless they decided to kill a few storm troopers for meat.

I think the ewoks, in theory, should be mercenary cards. But I will be surprised if they're not Rebel in this game. Maybe they'll be mercenary, but you can add them to rebel lists at no extra cost.

I'm really hoping we get a unique Wicket figure in addition to generic ewok units.

I hope at least one of the new Heroes is a species that's not in the game yet, like a Kel Dor or something.

Ewoks should be mercs but with a card that allows them to be added to a group with C3PO. They should be a two square unit with 3 Ewoks on one base. I don't want to see another Han, just the current one made a little cheaper. I hated when Star Wars Miniatures started having 5 versions of every character. Scout troopers are an obvious addition, and possibly a vehicle one, but speeder-bikes speed seems out of scale for IA. I think this would be the best time for Imperial Army troops. They'll probably be one human hero and one alien hero, but I can't think of a race that would fit that hasn't already been used. I know there are tons of them, but Devaronian and Zabrak, and Gand I see as Mercs. Of course a lot of people thought that about Rodians. I'd say Duros, if the Rebel saboteurs weren't Duros. Maybe a male Twi'lek for a change.

I know. A Gungan hero. They-sa being perfect for da forest-y moon of Endor, okeday?

It's going to be Ewoks which will make me sad, because Ewoks are the worst part of the OT by a country mile. I hope they have a three surge ability that lets them one shot AT-STs for maximum trolls.

Hardly. Various ewok groups had obviously been spending months, if not years, setting up all those booby-traps and what not. They clearly had been planning to attack the garrison eventually, if they weren't already engaged in active hostilities and harassing actions.

Luke I am ok with since he has a drastic change from episode 4-6. I rather have different characters or new characters show up. Heck it would be amazing if when they do the Endor box that they make the old guy Rex and have him be the hero the rebels get to work with for the box.

I am fully in support of a female villain for the set perhaps one with a light saber and red hair. For the heroes I think a Gungan and a Sullistan would be ideal.

Possible abilities -

Remote Access - allow interaction with doors and terminals from 2 spaces rather than adjacent

Slice - Reduce the attribute requirement of an adjacent door or terminal by 1 / Reduce the health of an adjacent door or terminal by 2 / Increase the defense of an adjacent door or terminal by 1 while defending (like Under Siege)

Hack Communications - While within 3 spaces of you, enemy abilities that affect figures within X spaces are reduced to X-1 spaces to a minimum of 1 space.

Hostile Takeover - Special Action - Choose a figure within 3 spaces with the Droid keyword. Perform a Tech attribute test. If you succeed, you may interrupt to perform an attack with that figure.

Cripple Systems - Choose a Droid or Vehicle figure within 5 spaces. Perform a Tech attribute test. If you succeed, that figure is STUNNED.

I think there's enough to work with here....

Sure it'd be cool to have new alien races as heroes, but also I think it would be nice if there were more of the ones we already have. It's a bit weird to me having just a single one representing each race while the humans get all sorts of diverse characters.

Not weird that just how the universe has played out. In Star Wars humans started out not just on one planet but many including various subspecies of human. Where as say wookies originate on one planet and very few have a real desire to ever leave it.

Basically its alot like real life where humans outnumber almost every other animal by hundreds if not thousands.

From a game perspective human beings tend to relate better to humans/humaniods hence why humans/twileks/denvarodians and wookiees feel better to play as heros as opposed to say a wampa.

I'm sure we'll see another Han and Chewie version as a "fix" to their way overcosted original. Leia is fine as she is so don't hold your breath, it could be a while.

While now considered "Legend", there are numerous stories showing that the Ewoks were not the sole life forms on the moon. The traps could just as easily have been for protection from the Gorax, Grass Trekkers or the Duloks.

Not major threats, no, but random low-level harassing actions could have been going on. I've always kinda had the impression that 3 of the biker guards went after the ewok when he stole the 4ths bike kinda with the attitude "damnit!!! One of those blasted furballs again."
