Norra with PTL, R2-D2, Tail Gunner, VT, and the Overhaul title comes to 40 points even.

HLC nearly always. The only times I would go mangler is if I knew I wasn't up against super evasive ships or if I needed more points for his wingman (usually this is only an issue with Corran, as Poe, Miranda, Norra all fit quite nicely with super dash).

As for crew: Kyle is usually superior. However, if you are up against a good player of an imperial ace squad, Soontir will get in the donut hole and can be impossible to shake, unless you don't clear the stress and just bug out. Kanan instead lets you perform any maneuver in the game that isn't a 5 forward, K-turn, t-roll or s-loop (that a turret doesn't need) and treat it as green. It makes repositioning actions less critical, allowing you to do a focus action more often. I have grown to prefer Kanan, mostly because I have flown dash A LOT since he came out, and "1 bank, clear stress, gain focus, boost, barrel roll" gets old (and predictable eventually).

Just to add: What would you put on Norra Wexley for the extra points?

It has to have HotR come out first, but I really like the idea of Weapons Engineer and M9G8 on Norra, along with PTL. Makes her a solid support ship to buff Dash's attacks and make him more able to think about using actions to reposition and not lose mods, and debuff attacks on people shooting him. Confuses targetting priority as a result.
