I made myself my own 6'X3' Armada gaming mat! I'm very pleased with the results. In the Youtube link, I description goes into detail on how I created the picture. So far it's pretty smooth, especially with ships on the board. The details are very crisp too, all for only $40. I also think the ships slide less than on the FFG mats, which is nice.
