new stress bot with less personal stress.

so lets take a look at one of the Arc-170 pilots Braylen Stramm. PS:3, A:2, AG:1, H:6 S:3; target lock, focus; Crew, Astromech, Warhead, Mod, Title.

While the Y-Wing is nice for the "stress-Hog" build, lets take a look at the dual arks of the Arc-170 and Braylen's Pilot Ability. After Braylen executes a maneuver he may roll an attack die. on a hit or crit he can remove a stress from himself. we all know that the "Stress-hog" can put 3 stress on a ship, but it can only do 3-4 damage a turn, with 3 chances to make evades on it's hits. The arc is a bit sneaker. here's the build.

Braylen Stram: 25 points

Tactician 2 points

R3-A2 2 points

Alliance overhaul 0 points

This build is nice because while it is a sturdy mid-ranged attacker, which is great for low PS fighters in my opinion, it also will cause 2 stress no matter what to a target at range 2 on either front OR back arc not to mention the overhaul enhances attacks on either side more devastating, whether it's an extra attack dice (front) or a focus to a Crit (back).

so what do you think? I've played a game with it and it worked wonderfully. Could this be viable?

I'm sorry this should have been in the build topics.

Correct. But that seems like a lot of points spent just to over stress an opponent.

Eh, not really. The problem with the Y-wing stresshog was getting arc on the really important ships in the first place, and if you ever did, the chances of you actually doing it again were almost nil. I think we'll see a lot of Braylen stressers. I'll spend the extra three points for a MASSIVE utility boost every time. Depending on the list, you might even just go full gunner.
