Interesting card combination I need clarafication on...

I'm attempting to make a survivable yet powerful Corran Horn build and I'm finding Accuracy Correcter, R3 Astromech, and juke may have suprising potential, depending on, like all rebel ships, how you stack the abilities. there is a player in my meta that constantly used sensor jammers, and it has taken hold on some of the other players as well.

So Here's the game plan with this Corran build, according to the FAQ, you can use accuracy correcter "During your modify dice" phase of the attack. Since the R3 astromech happens during the same phase, could you stack them and get an evade token, enabling juke, then drop all results for the 2 auto hits from the accuracy correcter, finishing the modification phase due to the "you cannot modify dice again for this attack" clause? Then, during your opponent's defensive roll, you can change an evade result to a focus result. If this is legal then this can happen twice in the same turn due to the pilot.

The question is, "Is this legal?" "Does it seem like a good balance of strength and defense?"

Definitely legal, but not very good. It will lose hard to any PS 9+ arc dodger who can just wear Corran down by never giving him a shot.

It's 4 points and a lot of hope that you roll a eyeball to make it work. And hoping that your opponent doesn't roll an eyeball, because if he does, your 4 point combo just got broken.

You forgot a part; and if they spend the Focus on defense that means it's not there for offense. Plus with Corran, unless they have two Focus tokens or manage to knock off Corran's Evade, they can't do anything against Juke on the double-tap.

Plus Corran's action is now free to take an Evade token himself, giving him a SECOND evade token via R3. Still, for the same exact points, I'd much rather have R2D2 + FCS + VI.

You can't spend two Evade tokens to defend against the same attack any more, but if you're expecting multiple incoming attacks this could be important.

True true. But if you're taking Juke, then it allows you to spend one without disabling your ability. But you pointed out yet another shortcoming of this build.

When did they make a stipulation on how many tokens you spend during an attack? I was only a ware of only being able to take 1 action of any spesfic type per turn.

Also don't forget you don't have to spend the evade token to use juke. You only have to have one on the ship with juke.

Also this is a direct counter to sensor jammer. Which has been put to insane use in my meta.

Focus, evade, and target lock tokens cannot be spent for their normal effect more than once during the "Modify Attack Dice" and "Modify Defense Dice" steps. For example, a ship cannot spend 2 evade tokens to add 2 evade results. However, a ship can spend more than 1 of each token on different effects, such as spending 1 focus token as the cost for Calculation and another focus token focus token for its inherent effect.

It's just bringing the tokens in line with the "Once Per Opportunity" rule.
