Anyone want to take a guess as to the identity of Darth Maul's "He's still alive!" guy?
I'm throwing my credits on Kenobi. Plus, we could finally get a reason as to why Kenobi spent all those years NOT training Luke.

I thought it was obvious it was Kenobi... This is a debate???
Guys they have said snaok is an original character like 80 times
JJ is the same person who swore Khan was not the villain in his new Trek movie.
Don't trust them. Don't believe them.
Khan wasn't lol

God I hate JJ...
could the reason that the Heroes ships get so easily pummeled is that they are all off the shelf civilian models, while the empire is fielding military grade equipment? That could be a plot point to come... the formal creation of the Rebel Alliance allows for the distribution of better equipment, Upgrades, Training, and production of war materials.
I was thinking along those lines. The CR-90's the rebels have are civilian ships, with civilian grade shield generators, same with the Hammerhead cruisers, civilian ships. The only actual military grade ship they have is the Quasar-fire cruiser-carrier they stole. I'm sure there's an episode coming up where they have to raid a Imperial ship-yard for equipment, shield generators specifically. Also see season 2 episode 1 where Sabine comments that the fleet could use the military shield generators they come across.
Dont forget there is the raid on the seperatist facility according to the trailers. Im sure we will get to see them salvage a lot of new materials.
What im excited to see is the eventual upgrade from the current Imperial vehicles to the OT versions. For intance AT-DPs get replaced by AT-STs as well as these proto AT ATs for the proper ESB variant.
Ultimately what will be most exciting is when we get to see the Rogue One equipment start to be used. U wings, Tie Strikers, imperial hover tanks, and those bizzare quad winged imperial landing crafts
I was thinking about this at work yesterday, and again today: We have yet to see an X-wing in Rebels, plenty of A-wings, the B-wing prototype sure and lots of TIEs (fighter, bomber, interceptor and Adv-prototype), but no X-wings. Does anyone else think they're going to do a story arc where they rescue the Incom team designing the X-wing and their prototypes?

Seems like a viable story line for them to go with.
Dave Filoni said if they do bring the X Wings into the story it will be like the scene from Empire of the Sun where the P51 Mustangs come out of nowhere and have this brilliant raid on a Japanese airfield.
I watched that clip again and I can say that has to be one of the best way to bring X Wings in.
They could bring in X-wings to save Phoenix Squadron.

Why Bother? They'd only explode on the way back to the carrier....
I was talking to my coworker who is only halfway through season one and is asking me when it gets good.... Thing is I can't remember. I know the first storage if season is two is awesome with Vader.... But I just can't remember
Tarkin the character and voice acting is great but even those episodes are rough, thinking back they only seemed really great when compared to the rest of season one.
Season 2 is when it starts to get a lot better. Just remind them that so far season 3 is fantastic so far and worth it for that if they're interested in the show and new canon!
They could bring in X-wings to save Phoenix Squadron.

The TIEs wouldn't get to shoot at Phoenix Squad if they had X-wings with them. X-wings have escort. Granted I'm sure the Phoenix pilots would find some other way to get themselves killed.

They crash into each other
They will probably have something like the B-Wing prototype entering the field. But with Wedge and Hobby instead of Hera.

That's generally the Empire's specialty.
I wonder if we will ever see something big and tough for the rebels to use against the Arquitens.

Interdictors work pretty well....

Pretty sure that was a one off.
Pretty sure that was a one off.
Worked pretty well, though.
I'm sure the glorious Imperial Industrial machine will give more opportunities soon.
They are killing it with Thrawn!
I just started to watch Season 3 so here is a little info on Ashla and Bogan. In one of the early script of The Star Wars (which later became EP4) the Force had two distinctive side: Ashla, the good side, and Bogan, the bad. The Jedi-Bendu knights used the Ashla while Darth Vader (who wasn't called a Sith then) used the Bogan side. This concept actually lived on very long, in fact Lucas was still pondering with the idea when the filming of Star Wars begun. The storyboard and the textbook was overwritten several times and in the first script Ben explained the Force much longer to Luke, telling about the Ashla and the Bogan, also telling the story how he, Luke's father and Vader (yup, there were 3 of them originally!) fought in the Clone Wars, etc. Even in the very first script of EsB there was a reference to Bogan, but it was quickly thrown out for the Dark/Light side concept which didn't need any additional on-screen explanation.
Really, if you into it, read The secret history of Star Wars. It's an awesome book and if you read it you'll find tons of funny things and you realize that the prequel trilogy is full of stuff Lucas originally imagined for Star Wars ![]()
That's awesome! I have never heard of that before. I'm really glad they didnt keep Bogan if only for the name, not the coolest sounding.
