Value

So with the change of owners what value are people seeing for cards, packs, boosters etc?

I went to Gencon in 2014, fell in love with the game. I immediately came home and dropped a large amount of money on the game. Invested in a large amt of cards via booster boxes and found someone selling a 45k card collection. I found a few players in my area but nothing awesome.

Then the news...so i have been sitting on these cards and not sure what to do.

So are these old sets worth anything?

The best sellers would promos, signed cards, or full sets of expansions (typically older sets). Other than that I'm not quite certain if they would retain value or not. I'd say that they wouldn't because of the current lack of demand. Hold on to them though.

Old L5R sets are generally not worth much, and have never really been worth much.

The moment something rotated in L5R, it was generally trash unless you found someone who was randomly collecting "all the crane shugenja!" or whatever.

The death of the game actually made it easier to sell collections for a short spurt, as people tried to panic-finish their collections, but that's tapered off.
