I have been running around some ideas for the Lancer (mine comes in tuesday). I am most excited to try Ventress but i came across this idea that i thought might have just a tiny bit of merit.

Zuckuss.

At 36 points it has some decent durability and can give a decent punch. Only problem is the lack of actions due to Zuckuss. But with smart use of Zuckuss (aka without spamming him) you can get some good use out of him and still take actions.

Anyways what are your thoughts? Any ideas to make it better? Or is it something not worth the time?

How bout Dengar crew? Allows you offensive rerolls without sacrificing action economy. You could also upgrade to Sabine. You're more than likely going to take a focus action, so constant target lock with focus. Use gyro to move your arc.

Dengar probably makes a huge difference on the seemingly action starved pursuit craft. I love the idea of bringing cheap big ships (have loved a generic decimator with just vader crew forever). Good luck with it.

Edit: the greens are great on this thing so maybe K4 security? Helps with actions, and is generic for your generic.

Oh yeah, K4 is an excellent idea. Same cost as Dengar.

You can always throw in a Glitterstim or two as well if you're worried about actions. If you're greening each round the stress won't matter and you can use your action to rotate arc / evade if neccessary (since you've got K4 for locks).
