Hm. What about:

"When attacking, you may treat the defender's range as though it were reduced by 1 (to a minimum of 1)"

So you'd get an extra attack die at ranges 1 and 2, and defenders wouldn't get an extra green die (or AutoThrusters!) at Range 3.

You'd also be able to use Prockets at range 2, Cluster Missiles at range 3, or Advanced Homing Missles at Range 1 or 2.

I think you're probably right about Mk 2. Part of me just loves turning slots into other slots. It's like deadly Russian Nesting Dolls.

That's brilliant! I love it. What do you say, 4, 5 points for that? That's a crazy powerful ability. should probably cost a fair amount.

I'd probably leave it at 6, tbh. At least, I'd start it there and work downward. You're effectively adding a die to every attack, and that ought to be expensive. It can't be too expensive, though, or you start to edge out the high PS ships it's designed for.

Maybe 6 points, but a 2 point discount on a Tech slot? That way you can make the ship a bit more survivable without lowering the price of the extra gun.

These look really good! There is still a small problem with the Mk 2 title: there is no trigger for pulling an evade token off your title card.

Good stuff. I am a huge A-Wing fan myself and know they definitely could use some love.

I like a lot of what you did here but I agree that A-Wings getting a free outmaneuver should be a thing. Either that or allowing them to fire outside of their firing arc could be great effects for gimballed blasters.

They always needed access to a system slot as well.

But don't you think 6 points is a lot for the MKIII upgrade? I mean Jake Farrel would be 31 points without using any other upgrades and his 2 dice attack still remains a problem. Sure boosting effective range by 1 helps but it's ultimately almost always inferior to simply having 3 attack dice since at range 1 a 3 dice primary attack becomes 4 dice while A-wing is still stuck with 3 dice. Sure, it can be used with proton rockets or other missiles but those cost points also. Jake with only MKII and proton rockets is 34 points and he's still weaker in many ways than an X-Wing or E-wing.

Pilots are fine but those titles are broken.

Mass Production Model also needs some extra text, and technically they're called Ordnance Tokens.

When you are instructed to discard an Upgrade card, you may discard 1 ordnance token on that card instead

Otherwise I have an instruction to place an ordnance token but no means to use it for anything.

Shara Bey needs a "once per round" clause here. As is, she can chain triggers of her own ability infitiely to go anywhere on the board she feels like.

As it is, she can still in theory do a speed 1 270o spin by using Daredevil.
