It's larger than the 'proper' debris clouds from the 2400 and Deci packs. Can I place 3 of these tokens during set up?

Good question. Casual play, i'd say it could be a good house rule. For sanctioned tourneys, though, the squad list sheet has a specific token set that you have to select your obstacles from, and this isn't on it, so I'd say no to tournament play. Also, it's worth noting that in tourneys, all 3 of your obstacles must be different (e.x. not allowed to take three of the same tiny asteroid).

Firstly because your three obstacles have to be different.

Secondly because this isn't a debris cloud, it's a Cargo Token.

Thirdly because the only tournament legal debris clouds are the ones from the Decimator and YT2400.
