Can I bring my Kanan list into wave 9 or do I even need to?

Biggs Darklighter — X-Wing

Thats a list I used to run a while back. It is not easy to fly with Biggs and a large base, but it can be really devastating. I can't remember ever needing to deploy Sabine, usually Kanan can mop up things by himself. Never lost with it. Whenever a new wave releases I tend to rework squadrons like that since there very often is a new upgrade that fits better or, more radicaly, a new ship. Both ideas are possible here the more radical aproach that I don't quite like because the ABT double tap is where the strength of this list lies:

Biggs Darklighter — X-Wing

Thane looks rather good here, but I don't know if its worth it to lose the double tap. Surely a third ship on the table alters the dynamics of the battle drasticaly, but I did well without it.

So I'd rather keep Sabine who can safely be docked to bank MoV. Tailgunner sounds sweet for Kanan, but might not be good enough. Here is the first draft:

Biggs Darklighter — X-Wing

Missing 3 points. Crew for Sabine, stuff for Kanan? Keep the list as it was?

Tailgunner sounds sweet for Kanan, but might not be good enough.

I believe the rear arc on the VCX-100 is defined as a special arc(not an auxiliary arc) that only works with torpedoes and therefore tail gunner is pointless without equipping torpedoes.

The original list looks pretty strong to me, I am a fan of the Biggs/Kanan bromance. My personal feeling is that your attack shuttle is a little expensive to be kept docked to power the Ghost's second shot. Here is my own variant of the same list.

52 Kanan Jarrus (38), TLT (6), FCS (2), Rec Spec (3), Jan Ors (2), Tactical Jammer (1), Ghost (0)

21 Ezra Bridger (20), Rage (1), Phantom (0)

26 Biggs Darklighter (25), R4-D6 (1)

I have a cheaper shuttle with just Raging Ezra to be launched in an emergency if the Ghost goes down. The points saved allow me to put a TLT on the Ghost which significantly increases its firepower and makes better value of the second shot.
