It would explain why FFG hasn't talked about SWX58 - cannot spoil something showing up next season in Rebels, yet.

OTOH:

• Good gods , we don't need another Sabine pilot
• The Rebel faction is already in the lead for number of unique ships (as of wave 10 - 16 for Rebels, 15 for Imperials, 14 for Scum). They REALLY don't need more.

It's a Sheathipede, a Seperatist shuttle, and it has already appeared in the trailer. though maybe it will be called The Phantom 2, they could blow up the current Phantom...the ship was already seen docked with the Ghost like the original shuttle.

That looks like the jedi fighter in The Clone Wars cartoon. That looks like the ship in the lost episodes in the very awesome Yoda story arc.

Pretty sure it is supposed to be the Phantom from season 2 of Rebels once it gets the hyperdrive module attached.

According to the Lego product codes, that set is called "Phantom Mark II"

Obviously 58 is going to be a stand alone attack shuttle expansion (new model but same statline and dial) with Kanan, Chopper, Ashoka, and Rex as pilots.

Because it's all but certainly not the Assault Gunboat (ACTUALLY the 'sexiest ship in Star Wars'), but a T-65 comes pretty close...

According to the guy, who posted the leak we can see in the first post, there will be two R1-related sets with this ship, a microfighter (minifig + a small "caricature" model) and a standard minifig scale one.

I think that IF 58 hasn't been revealed because of spoilers (that's a big if, IMO it's more likely it hasn't been shown because we have a lot of previews already or it's just something boring, like a mat), it will be an X-wing + Y-wing box. Official materials keep the black X and the Y-wings hidden for some reason, so FFG not showing the set makes sense, and two LEGO Y-wings make me think it's not just something thrown in the background and they will be important in the movie.

Of course all that is pure speculation.

Well, "Rebel Veterans" with Xs and Ys would make a decent amount of sense.

That said there is a bit of a question in that the other RO stuff is at the end of Wave X's product numbers, but this is obviously between IX and X, since the 58 release lies between HotR and Sabine's TIE.
