Now, instead of Rey going into the mountains alone to learn the way of the Force from a lone hermit, we have Rey and Chewie's Totally Awesome Roadtrip.
I know which one of those I'd rather watch.

Right?
Not a huge fan of Rey but I could absolutely sit through two hours of Rey and Chewie flying around and getting to various space gas stops or fast food places just paling around.
That sounds quite fun, actually.
Not to contribute to the off-track nature of some of this but the Pope DIES have his PopeMobile so there is some real world precedence for Yoda's ship.
Stick a TLT on this and the Pope would be pretty OP, come to think of it.

Funny thing about the Y-Wing...it actually looks smoother as a LEGO kit than the actual ship does... ![]()

Yeah, and he goes driving alone to the Middle East.

That all said, the current Pope is way more like Batman than Yoda so BatPope and the Popemobile makes a lot more sense anyway.
I'm more interested in the tie fighter with an astromech in the back...
EDIT: wait, is that yoda in that thing?
Yeah, it appeared in season 6 of 'The Clone Wars'
Yoda's egg fighter was the BEST!
Real life very important people usually aren't superhumans with magic powers.
All the other important people in Star Wars use shuttles.
They don't always use shuttles. Senators from Alderaan seem to prefer Correllian Corvettes, while elected officials from Naboo travel in chrome-plated ships.

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but that shuttle is seen twice in the Rebels Season 3 trailer
The first time is at 1:21 flying alone, and the second time is at 1:28 when it can be seen docked with the Ghost.
While I won't speculate anything, I will say it would be nice to have options on what to dock with the Ghost. More options are always good.
Edited by KasuvariWhat worries me is that the new shuttle looks unarmed.
Micromachine leaks seem to indicate that Y-Wings are to show up:
...but that 'Partisan X-Wing' continues to hang around, this would be the second release of it after the Hot Wheels version...
(Look, ma - no astromech!)
He's got an astromech in there.
Rebel Aces with X-wing E-wing is my bet. It could be a Y-wing or A-wing but honestly I just don't see it being necessary.
X-wing fix included would be both a title or two and S-foils modification dual card.
The hidden product is a new Ghost and Phantom Mk II pack. Slightly different sculpt for the ghost, new shuttle, Sabine piloting everything.
Every change in rebels will be represented!
Edited by That Blasted SamophlangeYa know - just realized something about the Phantom Mk II.
No articulating wings, this time!
That is, those who have done the Ghost mod to have a 'detachable' Phantom have long had to basically carry with them to game day two Phantoms - the 'plug' for the back of the Ghost when it's docked, and then the independent Phantom with the spread wings.
With the Phantom Mk II - no need to do that!
Granted, it'd be a slightly different mod - you'd want to attach it, rather than via magnet, by using a base peg/stand (sort of like how the Gozanti mounts its TIEs), but...less to carry around!

I kind of hope the 'partisan' X-wings are Imperial prototypes or initial limited production starfighters produced for the Empire. And that's why they're black and grey. And basically stolen by the rebels before the Empire can roll them out.
Because that was a thing in Legends.

That's the worst idea i've ever heard. Nor is it particularly well informed either.
The word "Partisan" literally means "a member of an armed group formed to fight secretly against an occupying force, in particular one operating in enemy-occupied Yugoslavia, Italy, and parts of eastern Europe in World War II."
Yep. Partisan X-Wing sure = Imperial X-Wing, all right.
We already know that the Partisans were a Rebel group.

...or a Scum group that sometimes works with the Rebels...like Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, Concorde Dawn, or Black Sun sometimes work with the Empire.

Nope. Saw Gerrera's Partisans are directly mentioned in Aftermath as a Rebel-affiliated group that fought the Empire in exceedingly brutal ways, that often maximized collateral damage, but they were effective so the Rebels provided them supplies and equipment, whom are later criticized by New Republic representatives as too extreme, even for the Rebel Alliance.
The Partisans may hire or work with criminal organizations, but their cause is 100% rebel, and we've known this since the faction was revealed.

I guess we'll see soon enough! ;-)
I don't know how you did it, or how you got it, but it appears you got a picture of the 2017 new Star Wars Lego sets. Check out the new set list. The new Phantom II Sheathipede-class shuttle as seen in The Last Battle is marked as simply The Phantom, the smaller star fighter where I can only assume is Yoda's Starfighter, and the new Duel of the Fates. Kind of a big deal.
