Snap Shot and fiering arc......

I haven't got mine yet so I may be missing something but there is no mention of firing arc e.g. if you have a turret can you use Snap Shot outside your firing arc

"After an enemy ship executes a manoeuvre, you may perform this attack against that ship. Attack: Attack 1 ship. You cannot modify your attack dice and cannot attack again this phase. Attack value: 2. Range: 1."

Absolutely not. Snap shot card IS the weapon you're firing, and it doesn't offer out of arc attacks.

as a secondary weapon, it must follow all rules for secondary weapons - so it must fire in the primary arc.

The thing being a secondary weapon has people all out of kilter. I wonder if Moralo Eval had an EPT would people take snap-shot? land at range 1 in his 180 front arc and he gets to shoot you,

Moralo Evals ability only works for cannon secondaries, so it wouldn't help even if he had an EPT slot.

Indeed. Same as Neras only works for torpedoes. IG-88B's double tap is also specific to cannons.

Since the weapon's rules stop you getting 'secondary weapon only' rerolls or dice mods, Krassus' ability does nothing.

The pilot ability which really helps generic secondary weapons - and hence snap shot specifically - is Major Rhymer - who can snap shot at Range 1-2. Which is pretty scary if you add the shuttle title and a tactician.

He gets a focus from each of the two stress tokens this round, then he dies next round because he's double stressed.
