For those not aware, Lion Rampant Imports is the proprietary distribution of FFG products, and most gaming materials from other gaming companies ad well, for Canada. You can go through some American distributors, but they cost quite a bit more and often are delayed and show preference to U.S. Customers.

Also, I bought nothing because my gaming budget, as meager as this stay at home dad can scrounge, is allocated towards Star Trek Ascendancy. Sadly, I am several waves behind.

1 Shadowcaster, 1 Tie/SF, 1 Protectorate, and 2 ARC-170s. Excited to try out a few lists.

I couldn't make it out for game night due to the foot still. I will make it up on Saturday, though. My wife found $10 of my secret stash, so I lost that. I think I have $30 + $15 store credit. So.....that will get me a Shadowcaster and an ARC-170. I don't think there will be enough left over for a Fang Fighter now. My birthday is coming up in 2 weeks. No one really gets excited for you when you hit 46, though.

You could always suggest this: "take the money planned for the cake, buy a pack of chocolate puding and convert the rest into store credits!"

I already had 2 ARCs and one of each of the others but I've got my FLGS holding another Fang and an SF for me. The Fang is actually going to get me to play Scum. And the SF needs to only be half as much fun as the ARC to be worth getting.

1 of each Wave 9 ship, some white primer (for other stuff) and Star Trek : Ascendancy - because I don't have a 4X game and I'm hoping this is more like a true multiplayer version of rebellion.

Amazon looks like they are taking forever to ship.

Interesting to see people are only getting a couple of Protectorate Starfighters.

But... Sadly I have not played in 4 months it showed today in the most embarrassing tournament results ever.

Killed myself literally 2 games in a row through sheer unadulterated STUPIDITY.

Great to have a killer collection but pointless if you don't know how to play like me.

Back to the basics for me before I am doing crap with the new ships.

Definitely not even remotely pointless. I don't get to play often at all, i am terrible in the rate occasion i do, but i still love all of my many ships.

Sweet! I found $10 more bucks in my wallet. That gives me $40 and $15 store credit. I need to spend $10 more on stuff to get the store credit, but I also have comics that have been building up. So, comics comes out of family funds and I can probably squeeze in the extra $5 that I need from that expense. So....$40 for the Shadowcaster and the $15 store credit leaves me $5 short, which means I tack it on to the comic expense.

Now...I take the bus to work and ordered too many bus passes with pre-tax dollars from work. If I can sell one or two more to friends on the bus, I can get some cash to buy the last two ships from the wave.

As for the release date yesterday: Nothing.

(Being at home with the kids We plan our lunches and dinners 1 week ahead, and weekly shopping was done on monday, so no shopping necessary. Not being to town at all.)

Today being at work, having a look at the actual models in my LGS, which is terribly expensive (even compared to other brick and mortar LGS in other towns). Not liking the look of the Lancer, too gaudily, if I get one, I will certainly repaint it as a rustbucket. Undecided on the Fang, decent, might get one later, most probably repainting as well. Not excited about the SF, do not play Empire that often, and even less TFA era. Definitely wanting 2 Arcs, they are gorgeous! They are depleting fast at the web stores, might have to get one at the LGS when working tomorrow, Before they are out of stock everywhere.

Well....an unexpected 6th surgery has put a damper in my overall budget. Things like new X-wings tend to fall to the wayside as opposed to mortgages and food.

I have five kids so my fun money comes from donating plasma...

I bought the complete edition of Civilization 5, because it was on sale for only $9.

Good sale! I bought it in bits and pieces and wish I could've gotten that price. It's a great game. The new one is going to come out soon-ish, I think.

Picking up my 3 pre-ordered ARCs tomorrow. £50 store credit from coming 2nd so it'll cost me £2 or something silly.

Not spending much on X-Wing these days. Which is fine, houses are expensive.

Trying to buy a house so this is the first wave I didn't buy right away.. also didn't buy all the new black plague goodies yet.

I stare at my online shopping cart longingly but I will not press confirm.

Massive Darkness pledge manager just hit and I already splurged there.

House shopping sucks. 4 offers all rejected so far. One of them I Really wanted.

Will need 2 shadow casters for the first build I want to try for regional potential. 2 of everything is currently the plan, with subsequent ships up to 100 points of generics as shopping carts need to be filled out.

Just focusing on Rebels for now, so 2 arcs. Have to save some of my "game money" for HotR and the next armada wave. Will get some fangs and a shadow caster when I swing back to scum (or when HotR hits to try some of the new illicits on a YT).

But man, I made a great choice. The arc is a supremely gorgeous mini.

One Lancer and one Fang for me. Two Tie/In and a Rebel Aces for my two mates that helped me move house. Rebel Aces will be one's first ships, my faith in my friends is my weakness.
