3.10.1 is a cadet branch of the main 3.10.0 trunk, featuring the stuff from RitR. Thanks to @Rocco79 for taking the time to add this stuff.

TO DO:

Going forward, we may or may not go forward with 3.10.1. Could be we go back to my dev branch. Ultimately not important for end users.

The next release, 3.10.2 will have some nicer scans, spoiled w8 cards, and mockups of the Onager and the Starhawk.

The next major milestone, 3.11.0 will have full support for w8, and some other features.

Stay tuned.

I just downloaded the previous version including the graphics pack to check the sizes and you are absolutely right 😄

I've maintaining my personal version of the graphics pack ever since (starting 2015) and never looked back. Since I have to review all images anyhow, coz some are still low res, I will also have a look into the card sizes. I'll check with @Green Knight to find a good and playable size.

If possible, please keep card / image sizes to a reasonable size. The more pixels that are being displayed, the more RAM/CPU power vassal requires to process and output actions. (More images, more pixels = longer processing time).

first of all a big THANK YOU to the former dev team and to all people which are doing this incredible work!

I am not sure where to post this question, sorry if this is not the correct place for seeking help.

I just switched from Windows 10 to Windows/Office 365 and since then, the maps have big grey squares on them and I get following messages:

The speed 0 maneuver (Rakehell) will need slight code changes :-).

How did you estimate the ignition arc? I only found images with parallax online.

That's from the article. So easy enough to do good guesswork from that until he has his hands on the real thing.

Thanks for updating it. I just tried out a Starhawk v Onager match, and the Starhawk dies quickly without a second redirect or ECM . [I take that back; thinking about it more, the Starhawk took some 45 dice over two turns... Even an SSD would have struggled with that. Maybe this was more on my flying than the fragility of the Starhawk.]

But more importantly, I've found a few possible problems, mostly with the Starhawk. In decreasing order of severity:

  1. The range on the Starhawk seems to be off around the front (affecting both front and side arcs). Close range doesn't reach out far enough, and medium and long are wrong because of that,
  2. The Starhawk ship cards have a prompt to spawn a Command 3 tray, not a Command 4 one,
  3. Magnite Crystal Tractor Beam Array doesn't have an exhaust option (although obviously that needs care due to not always being readied),
  4. Given that there isn't a slot for a 5th (or 6th or 7th) Defense Token on the ships, perhaps the upgrade cards granting extra tokens (Commander Krysta and Stawhawk titles) could include a prompt for the extra token (like Commander Palpatine... who also could do with Salvo being added to him),
  5. Is the tab under "Campaigns" for "Rebellion in the Rim" meant to be blank (obviously the Republic and Separatists ones are)?
  6. Would it be possible to add menu option for spawning Long, Medium or Close Ignition Tokens from the Onager ship cards? It may be that we don't get Close Ignition tokens in the end, but it sounds like it should be an option.

Obviously all of these are not game-breaking and have work-arounds, and I definitely don't mean to dismiss the work you did. I'm just good at poking holes in things... Thank you again for making this all work.

4. I don't think I'll add more than 4 token to ships (except huge ships). It's very complex, and Vassal is already at the very edge of what it can manage. So it will be stand-alone tokens, at least for now.

1. You're right. Arc is too short in front. Critical bug, triggers 3.10.3

4. You can spawn stand-alone tokens from the upgrade cards in 3.10.3. Will see if I can reuse the SSD def token setup for other ships for 3.11.0, but I think it may be overkill.

Since there is no need for graphics pack anymore, everyone can stick to the same module version, and hence the same checksum (good for tournaments).

This build is primary bug-fixes and some ease-of-use improvements.

CRITICAL BUGFIXES
Starhawk arcs fixed (front arc was too short).

OTHER BUGFIXES
SSD arc tweak
Starhawk now spawns Command 4 stack (instead of 3).
Tractor Array now exhausts.
Palpatine can now spawn Salvo.

EASE-OF-USE TWEAKS
Onager can spawn Ignition Tokens from base.
Kyrsta can spawn all non-Scatter def tokens.
The Starhawk titles can spawn the correct def token each.

NEW FEATURES
Added 'Gunnery die' functionality to Varnillian.
Several ship types have alternate color schemes (only available from the pieces menu).

TO-DO
Implement Speed-0 Turns.

I hope there are no more bugs... but you never know! If no new critical bugs pop up, 3.11.0 is the next planned release.
