The SSD cards have all been in the module for a while if I'm not mistaken....The Rebellion in the Rim cards will come in time. Ideally when one of us has the cards to get images of them of the quality we need.
@JJs Juggernaut Would it help if we enlisted @Crabbok to provide decent images?
Though I think full release isnt far away anyway.
I posted some high rez images in the Armada Discord a few weeks ago. If you find them, just gotta hit "Open Original" and it'll pull the high rez version then you can crop them.

Trying to go back a couple weeks in a discord can be like venturing into the bowels of Nar Shadda...you might not make it back, and if you do you probably won't be the same...
Yeah maybe so. I'll just try and get some more high rez pics soon
Warlords has pretty good images. More than good enough for Vassal.
Just checked: so does Kingston.

with some help from @Green Knight , I managed to update the Vassal Armada module with the RitR content.
Feel free to use it.
Is this the module that is being officially updated by JJ or was this just a private corabolation ?
As far as I was aware, Green Knight officially handed everything off to
@JJs Juggernaut
Not that I don't appreciate anybody's efforts, but I'd rather see this update come with a more official stamp of approval.
It is based on the last version provided by @JJs Juggernaut .
Since the dev team around him seems to not find the time to add the new content I‘ve done it myself.
I‘m not sure what kind of official proof you need for a fan based and non profit project like this, but be assured it was made with the best intensions to help players starting their campaigns without the need to proxy.

Ok, I understand you have the best of intentions, I 100% understand that. I'm onboard with anybody making content. That's not what I have an issue with.
The issue I have is that there IS an official team working on making an update, and you just stepping over them and posting your content as an official update on what is THEIR topic is actually extremely disrespectful of them and the work they are doing.
I'm not a member of their team, but i would kindly ask that you please be respectful of their work.
Please edit your post and remove your link, and then, I highly encourage you to make a NEW forum post and post your link there. About how you've made your own update to the vassal module and that if anybody wants to download and play with it they can.
Edited by KarneckFrom another angle, I would rather download the module from the official Vassal site once rather than perform my risky-click-of-the-day each time a community update hits the wires.
And with the official crew's version I trust the dimensions/range bands with be obsessed over and the full campaign material will be available, etc.

As one of the other four devs besides JJ, I’ll take a look at the module tonight and see if we can come to an arrangement with @Rocco79 to get it integrated into the already ongoing work, and if all is well, published to the Vassal site formally soon.
Apologies to all for the delays with RitR content. Externalities being what they are, we’ve been slow, and we appreciate your patience.

I'm not a module developer. Haven't been for some time. I don't really play on Vassal anymore.
Edit: If anyone needs tips or help with understanding the module, editing it or needs help with graphics, feel free to ask.
Edited by Green KnightHello All,
I'm sorry for the delay in communication. After considerations with our schedules and commitment we can offer to the module, the Vassal Dev team of @CaribbeanNinja @Visovics @Ardaedhel @GiledPallaeon and myself have decided to step down to make room for others to upkeep the module. Giled Pallaeon has stated he is willing to help out those who take over if he can.
@Rocco79 currently has the latest update to the module which he is free to publish. If anyone who picks up the torch has any development related questions feel free to ask us and we'll do our best to help you get started.
Thank you.
My thanks for carrying the torch as far as you did. Between you guys and the Green Knight, you have deeply enhanced my love for the game and the number of people that I’ve introduced to it here locally. Godspeed on your real life endeavors and hopefully still catch you at a table, occasionally.
Thank you all for your contribution.
thank you for your efforts in the vassel module, it is basically the only way i get to play armada most of the year.
Troubling news indeed.
Version 3.10.1 of the module is now available:
It's stuck waiting for moderation over at the Vassal dl page, so here is a temporary link:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/34u0higyliumzw2/ArmadaModule_3.10.1.vmod?dl=0
3.10.1 is a cadet branch of the main 3.10.0 trunk, featuring the stuff from RitR. Thanks to @Rocco79 for taking the time to add this stuff.
CHANGELOG 3.10.1:
TO DO:
Going forward, we may or may not go forward with 3.10.1. Could be we go back to my dev branch. Ultimately not important for end users.
The next release, 3.10.2 will have some nicer scans, spoiled w8 cards, and mockups of the Onager and the Starhawk.
The next major milestone, 3.11.0 will have full support for w8, and some other features.
Stay tuned.

Just me, or are the card 'fronts' now massively larger? Not as easy to fit them all on the table, now. And when you 'flip' them, they drop back down to the smaller size for their backs?
Or is this just my install messed up somehow?
