The Mysterious Green Die

By Crabbok, in Star Wars: Armada

So in one of the early pics from Correllian Conflict, there was a green die. I think someone said it was a "hero die". Do we have any real information on it yet?

I wonder if it will tie in to objectives? Maybe a new set of objectives allows you to have a hero die on your flagship or something? Or maybe you can put your "hero" in an x-wing or TIE fighter and upgrade a squadron to have scatter and roll a green die!

Just spitballing here - what do you guys think the green die will mean?

Defense dice

Or planetary assualt

Could it have been a defence dice form X-Wing?

I think it will be a special die for centerpoint station. Possibly useful on other "super weapons" down the road as well.

Ugh, I bought the Armada core set to get away from green dice.

Pic please, I have no idea what you're talking about...

From what I can tell there is no green die. Look at the back-of-box image, notice that under the contents there aren't any dice listed, of any color

Thats not a die, you can see it in the preview article a little more clearly. Its a token, I think it denotes experience gained or something.

That's no die.....

Yes, is the beforementioned Veterancy Token.

Amongst other things, it is the Colour-Shift of being in a Darkened Room on a Projector sheet with poor lighting and camera settings, and not bieng face-on, has rendered it a green blob, which could be a die if you gave a crap about X-Wing to know they used green dice in the first place.

I did not. So it did not cross my mind that, that was what was being referred to.

It is a Veterancy Token.

No Dice were listed in the contents.

But is it a "cheaty" die?

But is it a "cheaty" die?

They are all "cheaty" dice. They all collude with my opponents against me ;)

That's no die.....

it's a space token.
