I went 2 points over. :/ I need help! Can someone give me some tips? I know I want to use Starviper and Misthunter.

I like the Gonk + Xizor synergy.

Zuckuss is ok, but the generics are quite efficient. I mean, if the list is just for fun, then I think it can work and is fine as is, but if it is intended for tournament use, you should really try to get 4 ships in there to enhance your jousting power.

If it were me, I'd run it like this:

Xizor w/ PTL, virago, advanced sensors, BMST & autothrusters = 41

Binayre Pirate w/ BMST = 13

2 Ruthless Freelancers = 23 x 2

100

However, since you're not me and might not do well with PTL + advanced sensors (a very fun combo!), you could run it with:

Xizor w/ VI, virago, FCS, BMST + autothrusters = 38

Binayre pirate = 12

2 Ruthless Freelancers w/ FCS = 25 x 2

100

Lots of hull/shields, a nice little blocker and solid firepower to deal with a variety of threats. Just be careful of arc-dodgers----the freelancers are stiff, so you need to spread them out to catch the arc-dodgers and blast them

What do you mean "Jousting?"

I mean move your ships into shooting range, exchange shots, go forward again (or k-turn as appropriate) and do it again. Its the sort of tactic that Xizor can really exploit since he's 'untouchable' until his friends are gone...

You just have to be smart about how you joust (i.e. in predicting where you expect your opponent to go and how you are going to foil his most likely plans)

Two Grand findsmen and Xizor could work well. The Starviper has a stronger dial, so you might have some difficulty keeping at least one ship at R1.

If you're going to bump Xizor up to PS9, have you list below 100 points so you can have the best shot for determining that you move second and shoot second. When you have the highest pilot skill on the board, you want to move last so you can line up the perfect shot.

The other thing with Xizor, he needs all the attack dice mods he can get. Relying solely on his dice will give you crazy volatility. When you need him to one shot something, the dice will deliver 1 hit. When you only need to get one shot through, they will give you four hits. Target lock + focus is the way to maximize his hits. That's where Push the limits confess in. TL and focus each turn. Advance sensors let's you take your action first, Push the limit, take your second action, then move your green manuever and clear your stress.

Not at all. The dials are actually very similar. The only oddity is the starviper has s-loops and the mist hunter k-turns. Its not hard to manage this however with a little practice. If you fly with a significant gap between your mist hunters, then when its time to turn around, whichever way Xizor s-loops will bring him closer to one of the mist hunters.

Although its worth noting that sometimes by the time you are k-turning/s-looping, you don't care about keeping Xizor in range 1 so much, because your opponent has become committed to finishing off damaged ships and will likely ignore Xizor by then (it depends though).

Maybe this:

Zuckuss (Veteran Instincts, Mist Hunter title, Tractor Beam, Fire-Control System, Gonk)

Prince Xizor (Veteran Instincts, Virago title, Fire-Control System, Autothrusters)

Kavil (Veteran Instincts, Dorsal Turret, Unhinged Astromech)

100 points

This is my 4-LOM and Guri list.

4-LOM

Veteran Instincts

Outlaw tech

Advanced Sensors

Mist Hunter

Tractor Beam

Guri

Predator

Virago

Autothrusters

Sensor Jammer

Black Sun Ace (Kihraxz)

Crack Shot

Vectored Thrusters

When wave 9 drops, I am changing the Black Sun Ace for a Concordant Dawn Ace Fang fighter. This list beat up a Scum list consisting of Fenn Rau, Zuckuss and a missile boat Jumpmaster. It was flown by an opponent who is a bit better than I am.

I like getting in close to joust as this is my prefered fighting style. 4-LOM's ability with Outlaw Tech, doing a K-turn while being at range 1 of an opponent is awesome. Plus, If you don't kill your target, you can stress him.

Guri is my mini arc-dodger. Get in close, Boost or barrel and you get a free focus. Or head in without them, focus action, range 1 focus ability and you now have 2. One for attack and 1 for defense.

I like the 4-Lom and Zuckuss combo with wired. It's pretty cheap and has small dice modification when stressed, plus the ability to make opponents reroll defense dice.
