Problem with juke/snap is they cost minimum 21pts, so you can't fit 5. And with a squad of 4, I'm not sure snap is the best deal. So I think I'll stick to snap/cs.
Snap Shot and the A-Wing
A pair with Juke and Snapshot fits nicely beside some Ghost or Dash builds. I'd be willing to try that for fun if nothing else. Could also compliment a fresh Falcon build too.
Juke/Snap would be my guess. When you can't mod your dice for half your shots anyway why not use Juke, especially when you get two shots in a round if all goes to plan?
But I'm not sure it's going to be better than Juke/Crack.
On a Green squad you've also got the added benefit that no one really wants to shoot at an A-Wing with an evade token if they have any other shot available. That evade token might have a chance of sticking around when playing against higher PS ships.
If you have 5 of the same, it's not like they have a choice but to shot an a wing with an evade token

Mauler Mithel is a really cool idea with Snapshot! Agreed that it's not too expensive.
If you go in HotAC, you can have an A-wing with Outmaneuver, Opportunist, and Crackshot! That could mean 3 red dice and they are -1 green. Very cool concept. I know it can happen a lot in HotAC.

i get loads out of outmaneuver, and Etahn on my A wing than anything else. (admittedly etahn doesn't modify the die for Snapshot but then the follow up shots are where the money is!
