So many good combos with the A-Wing Test Pilot!

Juke + Snap Shot

Crack Shot + Snap Shot

Opportunist + Snap Shot

There's also Arvel + Snap Shot if we are talking about fun things that A-wings can do with Test Pilot and Snap Shot.

Can Jan affect snapshot?

Yes Jan can.

Best part is that if you dial in a green, Jan is most likely going to clear that stress to let you Jan again during the combat phase, unless you're flying against other aces.

Crack Shot + Snap shot.

A pair with Juke and Snapshot fits nicely beside some Ghost or Dash builds. I'd be willing to try that for fun if nothing else. Could also compliment a fresh Falcon build too.

Juke needs an evade token, so a juked snapshot only proc against lower PS ship.


Arvel would be perfect for Opportunist + Snapshot with two EPT, but it isn't the case...

With Jan, they can deploy 4 red dice against untokened victims

You mean higher, right? PS3 GSP moves, then takes an evade. PS4+ (3+ depending on initiative etc) flies into arc of the GSP. Snapshot from the GSP with Juke. Defending ship either dies or takes their action.

A PS0-2 (or 3, again depending on initiative etc) can be a target of Snapshot, but the GSP won't have it's token up yet.

Juke/Snap would be my guess. When you can't mod your dice for half your shots anyway why not use Juke, especially when you get two shots in a round if all goes to plan?

i mentioned to a guy at my flgs that "Snap Crackle and Pop" is the new A-wing swarm. I explained what it meant and he just laughed his ass off.

5 Crack Shot/Snap Shot/Chaardan Refit A-wings is a scary thought. More because they're cheap enough to fit in that critical fifth ship than anything.

5 snap black ties and howlrunner the new black swarm? Sure howlrunner can't modify the snaps but you could make it 6 snaps then. Does snap shot work with Mauler or Scrounge?

Yup. Rolling 1 extra die is not modification, otherwise OL would deny range benefits.

Mithil has a 3die Snapshot, Scourge as well if theyre hurt, and Zeta Leader can take a stress to do it too

On a Green squad you've also got the added benefit that no one really wants to shoot at an A-Wing with an evade token if they have any other shot available. That evade token might have a chance of sticking around when playing against higher PS ships.

I slapped this list together, and it looks like it might be pretty fun. I also considered Esege in Kyle's position. I might drop the vectored thrusters to upgrade to ion cannon turret though. Green squadrons really want Focus + Evade in order to survive. Without PtL this seems like a great way to get it to them.

I would think that Jan Ors piloting the HWK would be better- giving the A-wings 1 extra die on their snap shot attacks if within 3range of her.

I am super excited to try Snap Shot on a pair of Green Squads with Juke. I don't think they'll be as common in the meta as torp masters, but they will be super helpful for pinging in that damage throughout the game. I'm not sure what I will pair them with though... The points seem to lead me to having a Z and a regen ace, or a single YT with them.

If you have 5 of the same, it's not like they have a choice but to shot an a wing with an evade token ;)
