Get a Focus/TL each round, baffle the stress, and murder an untokened Soontir. Much win.

I've had thoughts of using it on the shuttle in order to stay in a good spot to keep blocking someone or to continue getting shots. Since turning it around is no easy task, I think suffering the damage is better if you get some key blocks/shots in that might prevent damage later.

Pretty much as above. The lambda shuttle and Quickdraw are probably its current best homes.
