Rebels fighters are so oddly priced. You can get decent fighters less than 25, you can get good to great above 30... 28 points is a strange spot to sit. I think I'm in a rut and not seeing some potentially obvious answers.

I'm flying two K-Wing bombers... They do pretty darn good, but I don't want to drop too much more points into them.

I've tried a Y-Wing bomber at 28... It can't keep up and has a hard time getting to where I want it to be. When it works, it's hilarious, but usually it doesn't. So I'm trying to flat out trade it for something beyond bombing simply because I want to move some of my eggs out of that basket. I'm looking for a single fighter that can cause some damage and pester other tier B level lists.

There's some poor to mid quality X-Wings that equipped up would be the right point range, but I don't exactly expect a lone X-Wing to hold its own. Tarn, maybe... with R7 and Plasma torpedo...

A-Wings look to be the best pick. Can get a Green with Autothrusters, PTL and Juke but for 24 points. Jake Farrell with the same equipment is 29... There's Gemmer... Skip PTL and put Juke on and just permanently take evades... Still only 25.

I'm sure I can find more points to throw on the K-Wings, but would prefer not to. Hurts too much when they blow up.

For those that fly Rebels, what would you do?

Grey TLT with stress bot is exactly 28. I find myself hitting that price point a lot when building lists.

Grey with TLT and stressbot is exactly what I'm talking about when I say I'm in a rut and not seeing the obvious. Too many 4+ ship builds in the past year.
