TIE Advanced stats

By HistoryGuy, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Was wondering if these stats have been released yet. If they're any good I have an idea for it.

DELETED

Edit: My mistake, wasn't paying enough attention when I did my research. Mea culpa.

I could be wrong. I own all the books. I've looked for it. I don't think it's out. I haven't read Arda I all the way so it's possible. I know it's not in AoR Core or Beginner game.

I think they're saving it for the Engineer or Spy book or perhaps the Sentinal or another FaD book.

No official TIE Advanced stats.

According to the page at < http://swrpg.viluppo.net/books/book/12/ > The only TIE starships listed in A-CRB are:

TIE/IN - Interceptor

TIE/LN - Starfighter

TIE/SA - Tactical Bomber

TIE/D - Defender

I don’t see TIE/AD there anywhere. And I don’t see it anywhere else in the Index.

I can categorically say, there are no Sats for Vaders TIE Advanced.

There are 8 TIE varients across the entire 3 lines.

TIE/LN (Standard TIE Fighter)

TIE/IN (Interceptor)
TIE/SA (Bomber)
TIE/HU (Hunter)

TIE/AG (Aggressor)

TIE/PH (Phantom)

TIE/D (Defender)

and TIE/IT Interdictor.

Probably because VAders TIE is a Prototype, just like the Inquisitors TIE in Rebels is a prototype, while all the above are "Production" models, using technology from the Prototypes.

Ive spent the last 3 weeks looking at these ships for my vehicle cards :) So I am totally confident in this.

If you want to stat it up, I would probably go with the Defender as a baseline, since it is probably the closest analogy to what we see on screen (Hyperdrive, Lifesupport presumably, armament).

Its in the AoR CRB.

We made some stats for a Tie Advanced prototype.

8 hull, 2 front sheild, -1 back, a rack of missles, two lasor cannons and handling 2/3 and a speed of 5. Basically a cross between a interceptor and an advance.

I would probably bulk the fighter up sangificantly, armour 2, wounds 12 and handling 2. and 2/2 sheild Compariable to an X-wing but significantly more expensive to produce and still fairly glassy; the ship was shown to be tough but I don't think it has the robust duriablity of older models.
