One of my favorite pilots, she has a great dial, and a great ability. I love pairing her with AT and Lone wolf, for a simple yet dangerous pilot. This pilot has won me many games, but sadly there are better pilots out there, so she has to go to the number 11 spot.

I can't stress how good this pilot is. He is PS 7, which can be fixed with VI. He can turn crits into an instant Direct Hit, and he has good stats. Overall a very strong flyer.

If you have read my posts, you know I love my Brobots, and who is the best IG, well, that would be B. B allows you to almost never miss with HLC, that's pretty good. I found that he hits around 1-2 damage a turn! But with CS and Glitterstim, he can hit 4 easily.

I'm a Zuckuss fan, so sue me. I love his ability, I feel it is great against Decimators, Ghosts, YT-2400s, and Fat Han lists. Huge fan, and can't wait to see how he does in tournament play.

Here it is, the number 1 pilot! This guy almost never dies and kills everyone else. PS9 with kick. No wonder he is played in competitive scenes.

That can be a major factor. There are certain pilots hthat would be AMAZINGon other ships, that are just standard or even still good but not perfect on the one they are on.

Yeah... Biggs needs to be on here, as does Omega Leader, 2 of the best abilities in the game!

Personally, I think Dash should be there at the top 5 because he just don't give no f*cks, and Omega Leader is no. 1, because nothing else shuts down an enemy ship as much in a one-on-one.

Personally, I don't think Soontir should be up there... hear me out! His ability is good when he gets a stress token every turn, and is backed up by the impressive amount of other defensive tech he has. On its own, meh?

1. Wedge Antilles

Most legendary XWing pilot ever.

His ingame skills are brilliant too: level 9 & the ability to reduce agility of his target is a great combination

Unfortunately the T-65 is not very competitive anymore. I would like to fly this ship more often.

2. Poe Dameron

He won't reach the legends of the old movies so quickly, but he's on a good way

His skills are awesome in the movies and very good in the miniatures game as well.

He can stay alive for a long time and hits pretty hard, using his focus multiple times.

3. Jake Farrel

I don't even know where exactly he appeared in the movies.. I think he was one of the AWing pilots in Episode 6, during the final attack.

He's one of the characters I like because of his great abilites in this game.

He can focus, roll, boost out of arc and still attack with 3 dice on range one.

4. Han Solo

Yes! Of course! Han shoots first.

5. Horton Salm

The best YWing Pilot of the Rebel fleet.

He is going to hit his target at range 2-3. Always.

Well, there are some more great pilots, but I think a top 12 is too much

Soontir: Have you seen this guy? Ever tried to shoot him?

Dengar: He is pretty nasty with or without Manaroo

Omega Leader: His ability makes him a powerful closer

Carnor Jax: Good guy to have around and ruin everyone else's time at range one.

Whisper: I actually enjoy Echo more but PS9 is so important to hit with a Phantom and Whisper is just so dangerous.

Corran Horn: The original double tap machine. Not so popular lately but still a solid ship

Biggs: The most valuable X-Wing

IG88-B: How often do you see brobots without B? He is hands down the best version.

Miranda Doni: Versatility with regen. Bombs or Turrets or Missiles or a combination, I've seen a lot of stuff work on her.

Palob: Worth considering in lists even though he is confined to a HWK.

Howlrunner: The reason TIE swarms work

Vader: drops mic

Awesome.

My ranking, in terms of the competitiveness of the ships themselves but WITHOUT regard to the meta (tricky, tricky).

#12: WAMPAAAAA: Wampa is part real threat, part psychological threat, and that's what makes him fantastic. He's great against anything with high damage mitigation -- and really, how many big meta lists have there ever been that don't have that? Not many. Some -- two Ghosts and a Y, for example -- but not many.

#11: Vader. Yes, I hear the cries of pain that he is number eleven, and not number one; but the Dark Lord is not invulnerable. His offensive output is solid, and the missile and elite slots give room for flexibility. However, without the ability to equip Autothrusters, there are too many threats out there that can just murder him (as in, anything with a turret). Then there's the other issue: why make do with just two actions a round when you could have three?

#10: Howlrunner. Her ability as been a cornerstone of swarm builds since Wave One, but she does force the swarm to fly in formation -- and that downside is enough to drop her here, toward the end of the list.

#9: Soontir Fel. He's the tankiest of tanks; the only reason he's not higher is that he has hard counters. Things like stress control and the party bus can absolutely nuke Soontir if played right.

#8: Corran Horn. The double-tap ability and regen tech combine nicely to allow you to pump defense without sacrificing offense. His versatility also helps him out, with the sensor, elite, and mod slot all open to some adjustments that let him fit nicely in any list.

#7: Colonel Vessery. He narrowly misses out on the #6 slot just because of late-game capability; but as long as you can enable his ability, his three actions and free EPT slot make him a jackhammer of a ship.

#6: Countess Ryad. I didn't think she would be good, by I have been proved wrong. Between the jousting efficiency granted by the x7 title and PtL and her incredibly K-turning ability, she becomes a huge threat both in the early game and the late game.

#5: The Inquisitor. Obscene jousting efficiency coupled with a brilliant dial, repositioning ability, and high PS make this guy one of the nastiest fellow in the game, even against ships specifically tailored to bring aces down.

#4: Poe Dameron. Aside from being my favorite Star Wars character, Poe also has the best passive defense in the game, and enough viable builds to slot him into a wide array of lists.

#3: Dengar. Between the Jumpmaster's terrific dial and his terrific ability, Dengar is a powerhouse all-rounder.

#2: Omega Leader. An insanely good ability that makes her both offensive and defensive, and allows her to bring down high-agility ships just as easily as low-agility ships. Combine that with a fantastic dial and PS 8 and you've got one **** fine ship.

#1: Biggles Darklighter. Single best pilot ability in the game, limited only by the fact that he's on an X-Wing. Targeting priority and focused fire are huge aspects of this game, and Biggs lets you control both of those.

Honorable mention: Warden Squadron, Black Squadron, Academy Pilot, Bandit Squadron, IG-88B, and Palob.

And wow . . . looking back through that list makes me wish I played Imperial more.

I think Luke's passive defensive capability is better, it is the limitation of the platform he is on that hurts him more than anything

1 - Omicron Group Pilot

Flies wherever the Emperor commands. Unwavering loyalty. #respect

2 - Contracted Scout

Not sure why but their union charges a lot less than other Pirates. You definitely need to pick the left seats, these guys have a tendency to accelerate when spinning left and if you're unlucky you'll bang your head against the right wall multiple times.

3 - Trandoshan Slaver

Great ship to throw a party on, invite a few of your favourite Bounty Hunters and start an interplanetary pub crawl!

4 - Academy Pilot

Almost non-existent wages but great skills nonetheless. Expendable fodder who won't question your loyalty to the Emperor (even if you're lying).

5 - Green Squadron Pilot

I don't know what it is with these filthy Rebel dogs but they're downright hard to put down.

A top 12 is too much for my casual play...

1-Baron Fel

2-Omega Leader

3-Countess Ryad

4-Wedge Antiles
