Well except for Roark, Rebel Op, Torkil and Spice Run.
Do you think 1 Firepower ships would be more viable in the future or is there the possibility of more "free 1 attack" ships if it can be used multiple times?

I was expecting an errata.
Hawks get 2 dice at range one without this card.
Hmm, do you mean you could use this as a attack in the combat phase?
Armed Hawks ... mmmmmh ... interesting concept.

This
But toss snapshot and gunner on them, that is three attacks at range 1 in a round
Has to do something, right? RIGHT?
I did think about this.
Yes, but if I understand it, it is 2d move phase + 2d combat phase at R1 in arc. Not the worst way to protect a TLT HWK, (but probably not the best either)

Well uh.
Good luck getting it at range one, in arc, of a target with the dial that thing's got.
It happens once in the movement phase and doesn't affect any other phases. IE shooting phase

Wrong. If an enemy performs a maneuver that ends at range one of you, you may do this attack.
It is possible (if not plausible) for a ship to land in front of you, suffer snap shot, be attacked by you during the combat phase, then receive a free action during the combat phase, using daredevil to execute a 1 hard maneuver. If that all happens, and he ends at range one in arc, you may snapshot him again.
I think Airen cracken is required to pull off the chain, but per all the text written, if you daredevil in the combat phase, you will be snapshotted. Especially if I already attacked using my main guns.
Another case: darevil valen rudor vs snapshot corran horn. Valen moves into range one. Snap. Attack phase. End phase attack by corran. Valen triggers daredevil. If that maneuver ends at range one, snap.
4 attacks across 3 phases from one ship.
I prefer using ion turret on my hwks, with attini mindlinks.

For a second, I thought I had wandered into the XCOM2 Forum, and we were talking about the Long War Mod...
I did think about this.

Me, too. Was one of my thoughts yesterday.
Put vectored thrusters on for more hilarity

You can't attack anymore in the phase of snapshot attack. Read the card.
And that means no Gunner effect into Snapshot.

Also fills the Range 1 donut hole on the Outrider, at least in the front arc.

Did you read any of that? Snapshot is the final attack of each phase it's used.
Cannot attack again this phase .... the phase is the activation phase, not the combat phase.
You don't lose your attack from the combat phase if you trigger Snapshot, you just can't snapshot twice.
You can, because movement can occur during the combat or the end phase.
I agree that it a ship has the ability to move in the combat or end phase - then Snap Shot could come into play.
BUT - I see that possibility as a slim one and not a very good reason to plan around it happening.
In regard to the OP, Snap Shot may not be the best upgrade on a HWK - considering you have to try to get in range one and have the target within arc.
The text that says you can attack with Snap Shot after an enemy ship's maneuver doesn't mean you can't also use Snap Shot as your attack, just like any other secondary weapon.
Of course, you wouldn't actually want to do that, unless somehow you need to miss. But since Snap Shot prohibits further attacks in the same phase, you can't use e.g. Bossk + Gunner or FCS + IG-88B to Snap Shot into a fully modified second shot.
Did we really need another reason to not take Rudor?
Like I said, it's a super corner case, probably won't ever happen.
But it CAN.
