I hope there never is a reliable way to always kill squads, otherwise why would you ever run squads?

armada without squadrons sounds like a dream come true to me

Moving 3-5 ships around and shooting each other... I feel at that point you might as well just play x-wing.

Without the squadron dynamic, the game would lose pretty much everything that drew me to it (except the cool looking Star Destroyers).

I couldn't figure out how to put my feelings in writing, but this encapsulates it entirely.

I don't expect everyone (or anyone) to agree, and like i said, saying no squadrons is exaggerating, I'm just getting bored of playing against squadron heavy lists.

I understand everyone has different styles of play, and that is good. But I think the moment something is able to always kill squads whenever it is used, this game will struggle because the whole fighter aspect of the game is removed, which is actually a large chunk of the ships and upgrades.

During casual games ask your friends to play squad light lists if that is what it takes to keep you playing. Or wait for wave 5 and see what new anti-squad stuff is out.

Everytime I play tycho he dies without ever getting to use his scatter

Whats a typical wave 2 squad build to use simulate it against.
