LOL, I just notice that the Tome of Adventure does not talk about loot.
Where the loot and magic items?
Browse the main forum of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. This has been discussed several times before.
There's no loot in WFRP other than what GM decided is there and magic items are rare and few.
Hurry for the missing edit button! Any way - here's a couple of random treasure generators tuned for Warhammer:

I intend to use ideas from the online version of Warhammer.
You can allways lookup some data in the www.wardb.com website.
Loot would be whatever the Gm equipped the poor sod with. Someclothes, the weapon, maybe a few brass coins or more depending on its status. Personal belongings, a very light load if it was not traveling. A traveller would have travel equipment. Otherwise most valuebles would be in ones home, locked in a chest or something similar.
Magic equipment is very rare to almost non existent in warhammer - only the most powerful of wielders would have one, and those locked away would only be reachable by the most resurceful.
Getting a magic item in warhammer rpg would be a whole story or a campaign in its own right - just see what Malus Darkblade have to go through in the Darkblade series.

Spot the D&D player?
That's the wrong mindset for this game. Loot is whatever the enemies were carrying, if the characters would take it. And they should be superstitious about taking stuff from beastmen/chaos worshippers - if they're not, you haven't made nasty things happen to them yet.
Loot is whatever the enemy was using in combat, plus a little money and/or items they might have considered precious.
Players tend to GREYHAWK THE BODIES of everyone they meet so I've used a simple house rule to keep things under control: All items found are reduced to "Poor Craftsmanship" from wear and tear unless otherwise noted. This makes all those rusty swords truly worthless (although there's always someone who's determined to try to make a go at it
Then I can give them exactly what I want.
